- The young suspect in the Oxford, Michigan, school shooting has been charged with terrorism and first-degree murder. Although he is 15 years old, he is being charged as an adult. Ethan Crumbley was arraigned Wednesday on four counts of murder. His father reportedly bought the gun used in the shootings - a 9mm Sig Sauer - just last Friday. The teen posted a photo of the weapon with the caption, “Just got my new beauty today.” Classmate Isaac Fantich said that Crumbley often looked “depressed.”

This is a perfect example of a "best case scenario" school shooting. The police responded quickly and effectively in apprehending the shooter, students took necessary precautions to protect themselves and their classmates, this could've ended as bad as Uvulade or Columbine but everything was done correctly. One guy even rushed the shooter.
The bravery and actions of the students, teachers, and police should be applauded. The efforts to teach students how to respond to a shooting likely also saved lives. This is a prime example of a prepared school & law enforcement, every school should be like this.

I’ve read reports that the kid in question was actually bullying the kid at school, which is why he was allegedly targeted. No clue if that is legit.

There were a handful of school shootings prior, but they were SINGULAR events involving the shooter and ONE other person. The Kent state shooting in the 70s was a skirmish between Anti-war demonstrators and the Ohio national guard.
