      pro tip : you can watch movies on KaldroStream. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.

    I can tell you what's causing the short. When you were changing the second diode the chip floated off of the ball pads. Clean it up and put the chip back in. That's not a failed chip, it's an issue that occurred while you were working on it. I watched it float at the same time the first replaced diode floated.

    Thanks for the video. After watching this I would like to ask you this question to you, sir. What are the most the common problems encountered for iPad Pro 1st generation series when there is no power, no power / display when charging? I have similar problem for an iPad Pro 10.5 1st gen.

    Where do you get the board schematics to test? Isn't apple proprietary and secretive? I'd appreciate some understanding of how to find the information to diagnose. Also, thanks for the awesome videos!

    I saw that the chip moved when you applyed heat on the diodes. Causing the short circuit on IC.

    I started practicing hot air soldering, and soldering with iron.
    Could you please mention from time to time hot air temperatures, soldering iron temperatures and air flow power, like my air station have 1 to 7 airflow, and I'm finding it difficult to remove chips from dummy boards with low airflow. But on max air flow flux flying off )))
    Super thx. Inspired beyond.

      @xlwirelesselectronicrepair 3 роки тому

      Iron temp all the way up.
      Heatgun. You have to actually practice on donar motherboard. So you can get used to the air flow and the time it takes to remove the ic you have your air on..
      Then start going up and down
      Start at 365 /50 and go up and down from there.
      Me i use mine from 250/50 up to 500/100
      Depending on the jobs.

    i've always wondered why the small components dont get blown off with the blower. it definitely liquefies the solder on them, doesnt it?

    • @javisolis2568
      @javisolis2568 3 роки тому

      I think he uses low air speed so it doesnt blow the components hes soldering on. Plus the leaded solder melts sooner than unleaded so surrounding components stay untouched as well.

      because the pins of the connector you see how close they are obviously before the connectors get inside of each other can touch the wrong pins or lines
