The singer Prince wanted to change his name to a symbol at one point. So I don't see how "Passenger" is ridiculous at all.

folk songs or songs with a folk-type air are beautiful and they don't get enough credit. They have the rare ability to speak the cutting truth, while still sounding almost upbeat. No matter what, the music of these types of songs always makes you feel good. Ed has the best voice for this.

Its amazing how much they feel it while they preform. You can tell it's all about the passion for the music. They are genuine and they actually have known eachother for a long time Ed met the lead singer of Passenger while he was preforming and they became friends so I am sure they have a bunch of jam sessions we have not heard but honestly Magical is the only word that describes this. Both have their eyes closed and they are just listening the the strings echo into the night and rocking to the beauty the other creates.

We don't have enough musicians like these two lads in the world, that is because TV shows like X factor or The Voice are murdering music and music in general just kinda feels like its dying and we are being given crap these days. We need more music coming out like these two guys, the great acoustic music helps this screaming and angry world to whisper and stay calm!!

Those of us who have dedicated our lives to learning and mastering music don’t want to be in the spotlight, we play for enjoyment. So those people who have even the tiniest but of talent and have the desire to be famous, that’s who you’ll find is the most popular.
How many times has this song made me cry? I can't count. Absolutely incredible, genuine and authentic love song. I am not squishy by any means, but if someone had to sing this to me, I would just melt on the spot.
Also, Passenger AND Ed. What more could we ask for? I saw them both on the same evening and nearly died of happiness.

he usually puts the capo 5-7 as it goes well with his pitch
I don't think it has to do with pitch, since you can transpose chords to play it without capo. I think it has to do with that special sound that the capo on 5-7 creates.
He had it on 7th so Ed could play the G, 'cause he usually has it on 5th or 6th as someone already said when he plays alone :) So I think Mike thinks that 5-6 suits him better

This is like the nature in places in Iceland. Mike came here one time playing a concert but missed it but that is something I have still left on my bucket list to do. 2024 at April a hard Cancer fight nearly killed me and one of the thing I was thinking on my sickest times was that I still have left to see passenger play on consort and that’s thinking was holding me a life even if I was told to live only 1-3 years then this thinking was one of the things that keep me a life and I got over the cancer short time ago and it’s told to be a miracle of doctors. Mike you make great music with hear in and amazing lyrics that makes people think and feel too and it surely helped me to keep me a life on my worst chapters. The songs Home and Hell or high water are my favorites. I will one day join his concert in coming years not leaving earth until that is finished :) Thanks for great music.
