We heard many subscribers offer mixed reviews of the PSA Mico Dagger 15 rounds magazines. We purchased two to make an informed assessment. Only one of the magazine performed consistently in the Glock 48. However, based on the poor performance of one of them, I am not confident in their reliability.

We think the PSA magazines are fine for practice but we would not recommend using these in the Glock 48 or 43X pistols for self defense or personal protection.
Failures included lack of slide locking to the rear after the last round is fire and issues with feeding a round into a chamber.

I have never used those mags...I seen some people complain about shield arms glock mags...I never had an issue with any of them. Thanks for the video.

I’ve never had a single issue with Shield Arms mags either. I have several Gen 1 and 2 and all have been excellent.

Yes, especially the shield Arms third generation magazines have been fantastic for me. I replace the magazine release with the shield arms in my Glock 43X. I really like those mags.

Thanks. I like that you marked the magazines so you can keep track of issues. I usually put a piece of masking tape over the butt of any magazines that don't seem reliable, but I generally just write my initials and a number on my magazines with a Sharpie to help me identify them. Keep us informed after you try to contact PSA.

I have one PSA magazine. So far no hic ups. But I have only put about 150 rounds through it.

That is fantastic to hear. I appreciate you sharing that.

That is enough to carry it. No need to waste shelf life by running more rounds on it.

Glock mags are so cheap for me I don't the point trying to save a few $$ going with anything else when I know the factory mags just work every time. Mag cost is the lowest priced item in the equation of gun mag ammo, saving money on them when they are the most likely to induce failure seems counter productive. The amount saved buying off brand mags will never equate to more training or more upgrades.

@@GunsGearOnTargetTrainingLLC Your channel testing is more real world applicable than most. Too many channels try to make everything about some unrealistic scenario where as you present what is a a person most likely going to need to know and and be have trained for to handle themselves. This is why I keep coming back for more.

Sir, thank you for commenting. I am not impressed with these magazines. I think they are fine for training, but I would not use them for every day car or personal protection.
