The Best Homemade Kale Chip Recipe Ever!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 25 вер 2017
- This kale chip recipe is quick, easy and delicious. Unlike some of the other recipes out there that produce only a handful of chips from one baking sheet, this recipe makes enough chips for a few people to enjoy using just one baking sheet. If you've never had kale chips you don't know what your missing. They make a wonderful alternative to the traditional fatty, greasy overly processed bag of potato chips. I hope you're able to give this recipe a try. Cheers!
Total cook time = 1hr @ 300 °F

Legend has it, he’s still putting it in for another 15 minutes
This! This comment right here is legendary
It will turn to charcoal lol
I make these all the time and it takes 7 minutes tops.
Godlike comment
Heh heh ! 😹
I subscribed for two reasons: 1) You're not afraid to actually season your kale and use lots of oil. 2) Your method of cooking them (longer time/lower temp) makes much more sense (I burnt my first batch, after following another recipe that says to cook at 350). I shall follow no other recipe for kale chips but yours, moving forward. All others shall be deleted!!
and how is using lots of oil a good thing?
@@iforgot669 most oils are very nutritious 🙂
@@AlabasterPeacock And very bad for your heart and cholesterol. If you want nutrients eat whole fruits and vegetables.
@@iforgot669 OMFG stfu you idiot. He's using Avocado Oil, and most people use Olive Oil which are both good for your heart and Cholesterol. Stop spreading your stupid disinformation.
If you use too much with the kelp it will just not cook and won't me crispy
I love how you seasoned your yeast with kale. Unique way to cook yeast.
Fantastic Recipe w straight forward instructions. Thank You!! ... for those who may have forgotten: 300 degree preheated oven, olive oil, sea salt, nutritional yeast and freshly squeezed lemon juice. So good!! Bake for 10 minutes then flip. Total 20+ minutes.
Subbed after I heard the crunch
That's exactly what I want lol
Lol me too
Me too!
Lmaoooooooooooooo

His way of making kale chips has to be the most accurate way ever! I’ve tried other people’s recipes where it’s at 350 degrees for 10 mins and they burnt! For this recipe I didn’t add as much olive oil as he did, I only made a small batch in case it didn’t come out right, and I put it for 300 degrees for 15 mins and they came out perfect! I didn’t even have to put them in again! Thank you!
You really like that added cheese flavor
He put half the can in there 🤣
Just made these , made a small batch because I was scared but omg I should've made a way bigger batch , I only added avocado oil, sea salt and some lime juice and it was so bomb !
Try ranch seasoning not DRESSING seasoning. its so good
@@shiloaf6096 most people are making these to eat healthier. keep that processed shit in the trash can
@@papiantii9976 avocado oil is processed. sea salt, also processed. lime juice? processed. ranch seasoning is just a mix of herbs and spices which are you plants. All seasonings are processed. stfu
@@kuorkor6757 squeezing the juice out of a lime is processed or did you assume it’s from a bottle?
@@kuorkor6757 they put it in a bad way but ranch seasoning is usually made with more artificial ingredients (though you could make it yourself at home) than avocado oil and sea salt, which if we think about it, both are mostly natural ingredients that are processed to remove them from, e.g. sea water and avocados. Lime juice is usually fresh squeezed from a lime so idk
Super delicious recipe!!!!! Made these today and I absolutely love them!
Yummm!! I love kale chips, looking forward to trying that recipe.
Just made this quick snack and they were delicious! 🙌🏾 Thanks for the recipe.
Drizzle the oil down the side of the bowl before adding the leaves. It coats more evenly.
Thank you so much for the recipe! I finally found something to trick my kids into eating greens! They already ate first batch and asking for more!
Excellent and easy. I will use less salt when I make mine today. Just my personal choice. Last time my chips stayed good in tupperware for months using your recipe.
These were perfect, even piled up, and they were so easy to make! The only thing I did differently was to add chili powder instead of nutritional yeast since I didn't have it on hand, and they came out nice and spicy. I'll try the yeast next time. Time to plant some kale. Thank you!
I have to try those. Looks really good. Janice
I have been wanting to try this for a while and I found a good recipe thank you!
I am never buying kale chips again! This recipe is easy to follow and thise chips look delicious! Thank you for another great recipe, Dan!
I decided I need to eat more greens so I went and brought a big bag of kale. But it was just lying in the fridge and I just couldnt bring myself to eat it so I decided to google some kale recipes and came across this one. I decided to give it a try. I seasoned it a lot and used chillie powder . It turned out so good, kind of like roasted seaweed but tastier ! And the crunchy sound made it even more fun to eat!
Thanks a lot for the video. Now I know how to eat kale!
I've researched lots of kale chip recipes and tried a few but this recipe is my Favorite! A thousand thumbs up and thank you!
Thank you for this wonderful easy to prepare recipe for Kale/Collard Green chips.
Late watching this but am about to attempt this. Always loved kale so I'm very excited!
Omg omg I just made these... it’s amazing!!!!!!!!!
He is right I have missed out in life.. until now! It tastes similar to potatoe chips
Thank you for the recipe. I made it and the chips came out great!
That crunchy bite was awesome! Mine are in the oven now; movie time snack!
I tried this today and it was soooooo good! Thanks for the recipe, man!
Thank you so much, got to grow some this season so i can make my own!
Looks great. SO EASY TOO! Can't wait to try this with my homegrown kale!
I just finished these kale chips. They are melt-in-your-mouth delicious! No problem chewing these kale chips!
Thanks for the instructions and tidbits of additional information. I made this with russian red kale, which I think might require just a little less bake time (maybe 12 minutes each oven segment) as they came out a little burnt.
Liked the chips but absolutely loved the kale once I'd seasoned and before cooking. Will be using your seasoning as a salad dressing on kale. Sooo delicious!!
Just made these! I only used Himalayan pink salt. It is sooooo good! So very crispy and tasty! Thanks for sharing :)
Thank you for this video. I just made some kale chips and they were DELICIOUS! I modified your recipe slightly and used old bay seasoning instead of yeast and it was AMAZING. Sadly I only made a small batch. I will have to make a larger portion next time. Thanks again.
I cannot wait to try this! Great video!
So happy to see that I don't have to take the time to lay them out in one layer or be too particular when flipping them
Best instructions ever! Thank you!!! ❤️
I finally got around to making chips using your method and a few extra seasonings, only I substituted sweet potato leaves. They were delicious!
Thank you for the recipe making some right now
We will make it now, after watching your video, looks good.
Massage the kale...love the kale....respect the kale.
will be trying this now :) Thank you for this video!!
Love, Light, Peace & Gratitude.

Finally figured out how to consume my Nutritional Yeast!!!! Definitely will try 😆
This was awesome. Im sold!! I subscribed for more great tips!! Thanks :)
Looks great thanks for sharing 😀
Trying that out today, thanks Dan!
Just followed this recipe and they turned out great. I ended up using some pre-shredded kale and it actually only took about 35 minutes total since the pieces were so small. Made some incredibly crunchy and tasty bits. Only problem was I accidentally over-salted, but that was my fault. Lol. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
I've never even eaten kale but I'm planting some so I can try this
I’ve made them and love them! Thanks 🤩
Glad you like them!
Thanks for this recipe ❤
Best kale chip recipe!
Thank you!
Oh this was nice I’m about to try love your channel
It is the best recipe ever!! Thank you so much. I'm 25kg down on a keto diet and finally I can indulge in some chips!! Thank you so much from Australia! 🦘🌏👍
Wow! thank you
Best kale chip recipe I have tried. I used only salt and olives oil. Can’t believe the great results. I used store bought pre washed and cut kale leafs, it’s even easier
Thank you for sharing.
Great will be doing this today with my kids, greetings from Lithuania.
Just tried! Good
Yum! I made kale chips last week and they were so good! Yup, gotta have nutritional yeast on them to give it that good cheesy taste!! 👍😁
Thank you for this wonderful recipe. You did a nice job presenting the content. I have subscribed! Keep up the good work!
I just got kale and this is what i'm gonna make.
Bout to try this
Looks so delicious! I’m excited to make them 😋🙂
Hope you enjoy
Great video. im gonna make these tomorrow. Before this i could only make them in small batches.
love this recipe !!
This is literally the first video I've seen that actually tells you what temp to put them in. I don't know why, but every video just has the prep, and then goes, "now put it in the oven for a bit and they're done". It's so weird how such an important part is left out of so many YT vids. 🤣
Omg Im making these. Thank u so much
Thank you!
I gotta admit that nutritional yeast set it off right. Perfect taste thank you!
Glad you liked it. Cheers!
Just cooked these and love them! I had let my kale get too limp, but they crisped up pretty good. Going to cook it again with fresher kale. I would like to know the nutritional information please. I used avocado oil. Really good!
Great video, I tried the recipe and made a batch of crunchy kale chips...
I think I'll try it!
Love your channel!
Smoked paprika is really good. And eye pleasing.
I can *NEVER* find smoked paprika anywhere. Nor Mexican oregano.

Nice! Making some now
looks great!!!!
Tried this and it definitely got very crunchy! :) I definitely oversalted it though. Good thing I only made a small batch. Thank you for this. Im new into the plant-based diet - I hardly ate veggies and this is my first time eating kale. Looking forward to doing this better.
Me too as I oversalted too!
thank you!!!! 💗

Thank you so much it's look great. Do you have any suggestions when to grow them in Arizona and what month.
thank you!!
Wow
I made these for the first time, and although the whole house smelled funky, and I wasnt so sure at first. Then I realized I kept going back for more. I now have another batch in the oven because I ate every Crumb, lol. I did go 4 rounds at 15 minutes to get Krispy too
I just got some kale! I want to make chips!!
Thank you
❤️Thanks🙏🌻
Thank you for your video. Will try. Made some today with another video and they came out soft and wet. Being my first time, I just put them in a zip lock bag and fridge them. Will know next time.
I started making mine with curry powder and sesame seeds, + salt, olive oil .. yummy. Will have to try nutritional yeast too. I use nutritional yeast on homemade popcorn Yum. And did you know you can warm water add Tamari or Braggs + seasoning and veggies as a mock chicken soup, any vegans out there would appreciate that. Not easy being Vegan. I have never massaged my Kale nice tip thanks and yeah I make big batches like you do too.
Add some garlic powder, or if you have a good garden, dried ground garlic and SCAPE powder. I even dry my onion stems and grind them, what a great spice. Swiss chard and outer cabbage leaves work in here too. Even dandelion.
