I have a small channel and working on to be monetized. In the begining I watched a lot of videos about strategy and tips, but a very small amount of them was helpfull to me. There are 10-20 minutes and the real value is probably 1-2 minute. So they are a waste of time. But EVERY single sentence this guy is saying actually make sense and I always wait for the new video. 👍Thank you for the tips.
What he said is true. I used to have a channel where I neglected all the principles he pointed out in the video, and I struggled to get views. When I started a new channel and implemented the principles, my channel grew at a rapid rate; the most rapid I've ever seen. With a new channel, I accumulated 100 subscribers in only 5 days, and thousands of views.

Maybe there is a flaw in my logic but a viewers’ gaze will be drawn to the person’s face in the thumbnail first then they will move on to read the text. Correct? If so, then putting the person on the right means the viewers eyes will be forced to move from right, looking at the person, to the left, onto the text, and then left to right in order to read the text. A lot of unnecessary movement. Where as, if the person in the thumbnail is on the left the viewer’s gaze will only have to move from the person on the left to the text. And once on the text their gaze will continue rightward as they read. Therefore moving in a more natural pattern. In my mind putting the person on the right only makes sense if our gaze goes to the text first. It’s the most important thing on the thumbnail. That’s true but it’s not where our gaze goes first. At least not if a person’s face is on the thumbnail as well.

However, on Mr. Beast main channel all thumbnails have the face on the left and sometimes in the middle, but never on the right. From other videos where he talks about UA-cam he says he and his team spend days studying and testing thumbnails for each video before upload then after upload they A/B test.
Meta has the wall. Instagram has "add to story". UA-cam needs to aomething similar away to share a video to subscribers. Ads to playlist doesn't promote the video to subscribers. Audience interaction is needed.
The subscriber tab is the same as the wall in insta. The only videos that promote there are from people you are subscribed to. Other than that the other tabs are mainly for you to discover new creators, popular content, or suggestions from UA-cam based on your watch history. The watch history is too sensitive for me so I had to completely turn it off on my main account because their suggestions were getting out of control. A huge time sucker. But on this channel I only look up things that help me learn about growing UA-cam channels. So it’s super helpful.

So many UA-camrs will make one video giving a set of advice to then make another one giving the complete opposite advice, which leads me to believe they have no clue as to what they are talking about. But how you did it was very smart. I have gained a lot of respect for your insight.

All of these "How to UA-cam" videos are about "one-off" videos, that is, even if it's a niche, usually they're stand-alone. None of these videos talk about if you already have a topic, and how to get the most of your already-existing video ideas. And never those ones that have a single project that might take a few weeks or longer.
Hi Friends, well I started my channel this year in basically March and I do stuff about programming, work on my own projects, make live streams and also create shorts and recap videos. I also started to create videos about bodybuilding cause I love it, music occasionally and now I start to draw and prepare stuff cause I wanna try animations. All of this so my channel is all about what I love and like. And this way I am not forced to pretend doing something what I am not interested only for views ... This brings me joy, satisfaction and people can see what I am doing without any FAKE actions. I would never do faceless videos cause I would hate it to make this crap just only for money. So I put heart, love, energy, time and you know what ... I am doing this all for free. I am not getting any penny from youtube or any other company. I do have job but this activity on youtube is basically to show that it is normal not to be hero overnight, that it is normal to struggle and just ordinary things. And also mainly, that life is not about youtube but also about living ;)
I totally agree with your approach as I created my lofi music channel because I love having relaxing background music while I work. It's all about sharing what we love. Wishing you all the best!
Well I have good views, around 6,000+ on every video - but nobody subscribes. I mean, a very small percent of people from these insane (in my opnion) views are actually subbed. What can be the problem?

When u start a New channel UA-cam doesn't recommend or suggest your videos. Stop making UA-cam videos saying that. The only way you will get pushed by UA-cam is when u post your first short so you can go viral if u make a good first short but it's not likely because UA-cam does not support small channels. They will push your first short for a couple hours then stop then push it again then stop but they will not push your long videos at all. Do better promoting it on other social media but don't buy UA-cam ads. Facebook ads are good
