I saved for a car after paying off Mitsubishi and bought a used Lincoln suv. After three months I started having braking and transmission issues. It had been in an accident and wasn’t reported on carfax. I traded it in for a Ford Escape and it was in the shop for 7 of the eight months until I was able to sell it due to recall on engine. In 30 years I've never been without a car. I'm self employed too James and now that I've paid cash for one vehicle and paid balance of second vehicle I can't find anybody who will finance with my income. Congratulations 🎉

OMG- there is hardly any snow on your drive from the valley into Anchor town. Yeah, that freeze, thaw, freeze, thaw crap really does a number on the quantity of snow on the ground. It's so weird being out of the country in a warm environment over the Xmas holiday where no one really celebrates Christmas except the Australians. Oh yeah, I mentioned in prior comment that I'm in Bali, Indonesia right now. It doesn't feel like Christmas with no snow, no Christmas music, no Christmas decorations everywhere but everyone is still trying to sell you everything under the sun imaginable. When I lived in North Pole I had a Chev 1 ton crew cab. I was having a problem with my brakes. I called to get it into the shop and they were full. They told me to keep filling the brake fluid and keep and eye on it. I went to pick up the boys at hockey in Fairbanks. It was -30* that evening. I was driving down Davis Rd to Peger Rd which has a T intersection at the end. I was traveling slow because of black ice. I started picking up speed and realized I had lost all brakes and also steering. My steering was hooked into the brakes system which Chev didn’t tell me. When I got to the T intersection I got the truck to turn and we hit the snow embankment just fast enough to put us over the top of it and we rolled down the embankment. I’m a firefighter and was so embarrassed to call the guys to come and get us out. We were so blessed no one was injured. Totaled the truck. So I know exactly how it feels when you try to right wheel and can’t. I’m so glad James and everyone involved was ok. Merry Christmas James and Lexi and pets. Cheers❤
