Nurse Julie you are the GOAT!!! I never would have passed my skills yesterday without your wonderful, informative videos! You rock! I will be telling everyone which channel they need to watch if they plan on becoming a CNA!
Hi, Laura! First, CONGRATULATIONS!!!So happy for you! Second, The GOAT! Wow! First time I've been addressed as such!!! Thank you 😊 💓! Happy to know my videos are of great value to many! Thank you so much for referring my channel to others.
@latoyamatthews1512 I took mine 2 years ago and it's been the same for a long time. Nurse Julia's videos are seriously the only reason I passed, just follow her every step!
I took my recertification skills test yesterday and passed with flying colors bc of your videos. I literally did everything you said to do esp the opening & closing procedure. And this skill was one of the ones I had!! Thank you soo much
your demonstrations are so helpful. Whenever I am confused and i m in doubt it's time for me to head over to your videos. I love the small feedback like not having to fill the water all the way and the different techniques to put things on to save you time it's the small tips that I appreciate.
Hi Nurse Jar ,I took my skills on Friday and passed, Thank you . 😊I got foot care , and it's as if I would hear you. Saying support the ankle, join and get between the toes . THANKS SO MUCH.
My instructor informed our CNA class about your tutorials/videos. And I'm glad she did. And I just wanna thank you for taking the time to help lots of people. My skills exam is next week! Again, thanks, you're awesome 👌

Hey nurse Julie I'm new subscriber to you chenel and I have my skills next Saturday and I hope I will pass it thanks so much for this opportunity you give us to learn more you're bless
I finally take my exams Friday and Saturday! Pray for me, my class was suppose to test together but for some reason they only let 3 people register for the exam at our school. The rest of us are testing in different places😒
Hi Nurse Jar, I hope you are doing well. Do you have to make sure the water is hot or can you say its hot? Like will the examiner touch it? I'm from California
Hello! In class I was told you didn't have to remove the chux for Credentia, is this right? Because on the testing booklet I saw that it is removed and you also removed it.
Hi, Helen! Yes, but you will need to do extra steps that may impact your time. 1. Remove & dispose of gloves. 2. Verbalize "washing hands". 3. Perform closing procedures. 4. Don clean gloves, then dispose of supplies. Remember, you will want to perform actions in the most logical and efficient manner.
Step 8 I failed and not sure why! The catheter was Velcroed to the mannequin which we did practice in class and I found it awkward so trying to determine what I did wrong
once you tell the patient that you will be grabbing supplies, then you verbalize "washing hands". it just lets the NAE (nurse aide evaluator) that in real life, you would wash your hands and you're maintaining hand hygiene.
Hi nurse JAR , I’m new to your channel. Loving it so far but I would like to know about your pre-presentation. Is it acceptable with Prometrics to give the resident the call light before washing your hands. Please clarify. Thanks.
Hi, Justice! This training video is for Pearson Vue and Credentia test candidates. These two Authorized Administrators do not require the candidate to verify the client's identity.
Hi, Nancy! No. Body Mechanics is basically moving your body in a manner that is safe and efficient. You must always ensure that the bed is in a low, safe position for client safety.
Hi, Carolina! If you test under Pearson Vue or Credentia, no. You are not required to clan the labia in this skill. However, if you test under Prometric, you are required to do so.
Hey Nurse Jah, your illustrations are so detailed but I have a question, if it is Catheter care, then u don't have to clean the Perineal area? I mean the Vagina? Just to know. I'll be doing test next week and I look forward to a Pass
Hi, Milk! If you are testing under Pearson Vue, Credentia, or Headmaster, no, but if you are testing under Prometric, yes. Which testing vendor are you testing under?
Hi Nurse Julie. Please how do I introduce to the myself to the parson on the room during the skills as I'm CNA or assistant? Because at this time the resume is not out yet. Please hope I'm not bothering you 🙏
Hi, Edna! You are not bothering me 😊! During testing, you may tell the person that you are their CNA or nurse aide, whichever you feel comfortable with.
I did it Nurse Jar!!! I passed both written and skill exam today !! All thanks to you and your amazing videos. It felt like you were right there walking me through the steps. 🥹 God bless you❤

I finally take my exams Friday and Saturday! Pray for me, my class was suppose to test together but for some reason they only let 3 people register for the exam at our school. The rest of us are testing in different places😒
Thank you ! Thank you! Your videos are very helpful. ❤
Do i go by this for the year 2023 testing through Pearson vue since this was 2022..or can i watch the 2022 Prometric
Hey nurse Jar! for this skill do I have to start covering up the client with my elbows? Is it a necessary step!
Hi, Abril! No, you do not.
Thank you
Hi Nurse Jar, I hope you are doing well. Do you have to make sure the water is hot or can you say its hot? Like will the examiner touch it? I'm from California
Hello! In class I was told you didn't have to remove the chux for Credentia, is this right? Because on the testing booklet I saw that it is removed and you also removed it.
Hello wouldn’t it be contaminated when you touch the call bell and blanket
Thank you Nurse Jar.😘
Hi, Kristen! Thank you!
Is this painful for the patient?
I'm taking my classes at the veterans home and I wonder if I'll need to place a protective barrier on the table. I hate the Not knowing lol
Hi Julie thanks for the videos,is this working for washington state too?
@nurse jar can you do the closing procedures for each skill before you dispose of your supplies
So for pearsonvue and credentia are we physically not washing our hands? Are we just verbally stating we washed our hands? Im confused on that part.
once you tell the patient that you will be grabbing supplies, then you verbalize "washing hands". it just lets the NAE (nurse aide evaluator) that in real life, you would wash your hands and you're maintaining hand hygiene.
Hi nurse JAR , I’m new to your channel. Loving it so far but I would like to know about your pre-presentation. Is it acceptable with Prometrics to give the resident the call light before washing your hands. Please clarify. Thanks.
Skills test tomorrow.
Nurse JAR.. God bless you! You really do a great service for HIM 👆. And us! Thanks again.😊💜
Hi, Erin! Thank you 😊!
Hello nurse J. Head master in Michigan have us check bracelet but in your video doesn’t state that is there a reason why?
Hi, Justice! This training video is for Pearson Vue and Credentia test candidates. These two Authorized Administrators do not require the candidate to verify the client's identity.
the best ever 🎉🎉🎉
Hi, Bri! Thank you 😊!
You're the best 👌 👍 😍
Hi, Dasola! Thank you 😊!
Chatt
Hi Nurse Julie, When you said Credentia doesn't count body mechanics does that include lowering the bed as well?
Hi, Nancy! No. Body Mechanics is basically moving your body in a manner that is safe and efficient.
You must always ensure that the bed is in a low, safe position for client safety.
So im confused do we not clean and rinse the labia part before the catheter? Im with Pearson Vue
Hi, Carolina!
If you test under Pearson Vue or Credentia, no. You are not required to clan the labia in this skill.
However, if you test under Prometric, you are required to do so.
We don’t dry the catheter?
Hi, Josie! Yes! You wash, rinse, and dry the catheter just as I demonstrated in this video.
Do we get graded on the bath blanket for credentia?
Hi, Sarah! No. Placement of a privacy blanket is not a required step for Credentia and Pearson Vue.
@@NURSEJAR thanks so much for your fast reply
Can i test on 2 different days like yake my written on a Monday and skills Tuesday?
Yes
Is California Pearson VUE ??
Hi, Koriqo8543! California has switched over to Credentia.
I know I failed this. Waiting for my results now😢
Hi, LuckLady! Don't think negatively! 🤔 Stay positive ✨️ 🙂! Let me know how you did once you receive your results.
