  • In our last creek hunt of the year (maybe) we go back to one of our favorite creeks where we were met with several surprises, signs of a large alligator in the hole we were in last month and someone had beaten us to some of the best spots. Not to be deterred we just got in one of the deeper holes which they apparently didn’t know about (they will now because they watch our channel. That’s how they knew the creek holds artifacts). It turned out to be a very productive day with Will finding his first bead ever and Matthew found a smoker of a Late Archaic Barbed point plus we found several other arrowheads and drills. Don’t miss this one!
    PLUS. We do a review on the $99 kayaks from Tractor Supply.

    .Those places where the water remains until the last moment are the places where there was a lot of hunting activity and the points were there. We have observed in the plains that those small places where the water remains last are the special ones to one day sift. Too bad broken drill. Good images of that drone friend. In the end good finds. I hope that with a bath they have lost that soaked dog smell hahahahaha.

    When you come across a trash bag like that, always look for mail, it will have an address and a name usually of the owner of the trash. Turn in the pictures and mail to authorities and they will pursue it! I have done it several time.

    Spike, who chooses the intro., and outro’ music? I JUST LOVE IT! Now don’t go and get, alligator bit! 🐊 How is Randy’s hand doing? I’m not sure if this video was done before or after his injury. Please let him know we are thinking of him and praying for a complete recovery. ✋🙏👑🙏 Always a good video, the finds, the laughter, the friendship and fellowship between a great group of ( sometimes cheeky ) guys! 😉😂☺️ Oh and also, if you are in the location that I think you are, this creek is a storm - sewer run-off, as well as for local ditches and driveways. So Spike…it ain’t you that’s stinky, it’s the creek water. I hope ya’ll did a good clean- up after you got home. 🫣🫢🤭

    • @HeartbreakerRelics
      @HeartbreakerRelics  8 місяців тому +1

      Thanks. I (Spike) choose all the music and do all the editing. Randy had already had his surgery and was recovering when this was filmed. I'm sorry I didn't give an update. He is do ok. He's not where he hoped he would be at this point and realizes now he may never get there. After three surgeries there's not much else to be done. He said he'll adjust.
      This creek is in rural Perry county Mississippi. It gets runoff from everywhere like all creeks but is usually pretty clean.

Please let him know that he is thought of and prayed for, as well as all of you are kept in prayer. 🙏👑🙏 Thanks for the correction on the area of this video. I’d hate to think the water was anything but clean, for ya’ll’s sake. ☺️

    Awesome channel, so glad I found it. I wanted to go arrowhead hunting, but my grandma told me it was illegal in all states because of the Carter Act unless you're hunting on private property with the owners permission. I did not know this. Is this true? How are you guys able to hunt for them?

    • @HeartbreakerRelics
      @HeartbreakerRelics  8 місяців тому

      Thanks. The laws differ from state to state. You can't hunt artifacts on state or federal land and in some states the public waterways are off limits. Most states allow hunting artifacts on private land but check your local and state laws to make sure. We hunt properties with permission and some public waterways which is legal in our state.

    • @sentient8146
      @sentient8146 8 місяців тому

      In TX any navigable waterways are public property and can be used by anyone. The big question is what's navigable. You do have to stay within the defined banks of the water. I am pretty sure that the moment you start digging into the bank you are trespassing if you don't have permission to be there. Texan's are pretty good hearted and as often as not they will give you permission to hunt points on their land. Just be polite and fill in your holes and basically be good guests.
