Mrs. Sophia , I like all 3 recipes & they are Irish , German , Austrian food staples, I am Irish & my my wife of many yrs is German( father) & Austrian ( mother) on the 1st recipe after squeezing the water out of the potatoes , I line a paper towel under the perforated basket of my salad spinner & spin for 2 minutes & they are nearly completely dry. I like your semi knife-meat cleaver & my fave brand of Knives are Henkels made in Germany.as they hold an edge for a long time & are very sturdy, God Bless you and your family.

Although I would say the first one I grate on the smallest and sharp holes instead of big holes you used... It comes out like a potato-mash and when you fry it as separate circles with diameter of your index finger that is the one the most delicious potato dishes for me) Thanks, dear! =)
