Tu es très douée Sophie en France on appelle ce plat un bœuf Bourguignon avec quelques petites nuances cependant notamment on fait mariner la viande dans le vin rouge au frigo toute une nuit avec les oignons les carottes le bouquet garni. On fait revenir la viande puis on la flambe a l’armagnac ou au cognac puis on ajoute les carottes et les oignons de la marinade puis un peu de farine ou de fécule d maïs enfin le vin rouge au moins une bouteille entière bourgogne de préférence. Pas de concentré de tomate on laisse mijoter au moins 3 heures à la fin petite astuce mettre un carré de chocolat noir à forte teneur en cacao ça rend la sauce lisse et brillante. 🇫🇷🌹💐❤️🇩🇪😘

@shivadizayin c'est la recette du "boeuf bourguignon"(avec quelques petites variantes : l'ail n'est pas indispensable, on ne met pas de sauce tomate, et le vin rouge, de préférence, doit être un vin " épais")...Ici,en Bourgogne, on fait mariner la viande et les carottes dans le vin toute une nuit, pour les attendrir et mieux les imprégner).... ça se sert accompagné d'une purée, ou de riz, ou de pates, ou de pommes de terre cuites à l'eau.... la même recette (de sauce au vin rouge) existe pour les oeufs, qu'on fait pocher ...c'est excellent aussi, et pas très compliqué à faire... 😉

I made this tonight , smaller portion . I added a vegetable bullion( defiantly NOT needed ) and found it a tad salty ( I MUST try to ONLY add salt at the end , IF needed ) . The flavour was INTENCE , in a vary good way . Served it over instant mashed potatoes and small Yorkshire Puddings . Will DEFINATLY be trying this again . Interested in what country you are in ? There are limits - the meat will eventually get dry - especially if the meat is too lean for slow cooking. Best to get it done to just short of cooked then refrigerate it for a day or two and finish it off on the day with an extra half hour's simmer.
This is a goulash. But you pretty much had my interest with those mushrooms. Love mushrooms any recipe is good, with mushrooms. Thanks for sharing and not talking a lot about nothing!!
there are differences between goulash and boeur bourguignon. Beef bourguignon is necessarily cooked in Burgundy red wine and goulash is most often cooked in broth, and not necessarily in wine. On the other hand, beef bourguignon does not contain tomato sauce.
Cooking in a pressure cooker does not change anything in the recipe, it only reduces the cooking time, because of the pressure. The taste is absolutely identical.

Some Parisian restaurants simmer the stew for 4 to 6 hours.
True. She tells, doing quick, so it's better when you've time, but it's short way but also suculus.
The longer you let it simmer the better it gets.
There are limits - the meat will eventually get dry - especially if the meat is too lean for slow cooking. Best to get it done to just short of cooked then refrigerate it for a day or two and finish it off on the day with an extra half hour's simmer.
This is a goulash. But you pretty much had my interest with those mushrooms. Love mushrooms any recipe is good, with mushrooms. Thanks for sharing and not talking a lot about nothing!!

there are differences between goulash and boeur bourguignon. Beef bourguignon is necessarily cooked in Burgundy red wine and goulash is most often cooked in broth, and not necessarily in wine. On the other hand, beef bourguignon does not contain tomato sauce.
Dang that looks good. I make something like this in the pressure cooker but I may have to switch to this method in the future.
Cooking in a pressure cooker does not change anything in the recipe, it only reduces the cooking time, because of the pressure. The taste is absolutely identical.
I have to put it to the test right away.
