As usual, your timing is impeccable! I have a bunch of western red cedar seedlings from last year that have been waiting for me to decide what to do. Now I know. Thanks! Your tour was so nice. Your honesty and effort regarding your trees is commendable. Not everyone is so candid in their content.
I love that you're unapologetic for the sound of Julian hotrodding his Abarth!!! Just found and joined the Nebraska Bonsai Society yesterday, and I'm happy! Not sure why I've never joined one in California. 🙈
Love the Thuja Forest from seed. I have one too with fewer trees, that wasn’t planted as a forest per se. I just needed to put them somewhere. Now I want to repot and style them. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hi Nigel. Long time follower from the UK. I don't think you have a video I haven't watched over the past 5 years. I offered to send you a downy willow but you've got one from Zin now. The mystery tree is balsam poplar. They grow in the sand dunes near where I live. They have a beautiful sweet smell, especially when the wood is put on a fire. Keep up the good work mate, love ya!
Will be interested in following your Amur Maple. I've never seen a "false fall," and am amazed the color is so consistent over the entire tree. You may even get a double bonus of fall color in spring and reduced leaf size from the second flush. Maybe?
What you call the yew tree looks like what we call the podocapus tree... Nice work, beautiful forest... Your decision to break up the original planting was a great one 🎉🎉
Nigel, not that you need another project, but would an area with light, shade netting to initially place the more tender trees and tropicals help with transitioning from inside to full sun be worth it? May just a table or two made with 4 poles and netting on top? Enjoying seeing the trees outside looking more mature and developed. Like children, they grow up so quickly!
Wow!! Two videos today! Have I done something good in my previous life? 😀
That separated tree is now one of your top 5 trees imo - the structure is so unique and interesting. Great decision.
Love the updates, nice Saturday morning viewing- thank you Nigel.
Have a great day Tomorrow 😀

Another forest is born. 💚 Great updates too. Julian seems to be having loads of fun with his vehicle. Nice to see!
Good job with the PPE, Julian. Very important. How's the Porsche?

Nice to see you today Nigel! Can't wait for the video! 🐦💙
That is one nice forest that you created. Looking cool! All your update trees are having some great color. Really cool!!!

Have fun at the show and sale...bring back some interesting pots...❤❤❤
Not to tease too much, think pots, not trees! You’ll be walking through the aisles of temptation, stay strong. I have faith in you.

Thank for sharing 👍🙏
Hey Nigel, glad to hear you'll be at the London show! I'll be hanging around there on the Saturday, too.
New forest looks great. Forgot about them trees you took out. They survived good while waiting for there new home.

I wonder what this forest will turn into. Nice updates as well. Interesting _fall_ colors..!
Great updates, the mystery tree looks like an Aspen maybe
