Absolutely LOVE Marine Hyaluronics on my very damp face after cleansing. Feels like water instead of a sticky serum and immediately hydrates and keeps my face from drying out before I go into my other steps. I use it very liberally and buy it over and over and over. Love.
This video came at the perfect time! I tried the regular HA just last night for the first time and I really didn't like that sticky feeling. Will be ordering this one asap!

I switched to the marine h. about 3 weeks ago. I love it also❣ I have found that if I mix it with my amino acids I can get it to cover my face beautifully with out absorbing to fast because there is double product in my palm... love your channel🌺❣🌺

Have you tried the Amino Acids + B5? Do you think this one is more hydrating than that one?
I like that that one has B5 in it, but I'm also interested in this one and if it is more hydrating. This one seems to have a small bit of salicylic acid in it, so I am thinking about switching over since my main concern is getting rid of sebaceous filaments.
Ok, just watched your video on The Ordinary's EUK 134 0.1% (bought three bottles, while the sale is still on of course) and two bottles of this...I think I now have every product from The Ordinary that I can purchase in Canada. Big sales during a pandemic is dangerous. I was wondering if you knew of any Black Friday skin care events other then The Ordinary coming up this week?
Using it for over 2 months now and I have 3 bottles in my stock! Like the consistency and very hydrating too!

@@MadAboutSkin i want to try this one but it contains algae extract, as i know its pore clogging and bad if you have acne prone skin because it activates micro comedons and turns into pustules. What do you think in this case?

So I didn’t realize that marine hyaluronic‘s and hyaluronic acid were basically the same thing. I use both in my skin care regiment but I’m thinking I need to get rid of Marin hyaluronic‘s. I have more normal to dry skin more on the normal side and I’m looking more to target my large pores especially my blackheads and start working on prolonging fine lines and wrinkles as I turn 30 this year. Along with obviously working on evening out my complexion and skin tone and brightening my skin do already use hyaluronic acid and niacinamide along with Pycnogenol

Can I use this as only moisturizer after cleanser?
I hate the texture of the original ordinary moisturizer, so I am looking for something light for oily skin as replacement?
I saw you recommend Neutrogena hydro boost water gel. I was wondering if marine hyaluronics is similar.
or maybe Amino acids + b5, or Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5...

Great question and I think if you have oily skin then this would be a good option as a moisturiser if you dont want to use a heavier option.. I hope this helps xx

The Ordinary traditional HA DRIED my skin out so bad. As it turns out HA in any product I use had to go. It caused dryness and irritation. So, excited to try this one out. Here’s hoping!

That’s because you used hyaluronic acids wrongly. I will tell you and whoever sees this to use it clearly. Your not supposed to dry your face to apply HA. After washing pat your face a few times while it’s damp use the HA. Hyaluronic deliver moisture by drawing environmental water vapour to your skin itself does not provide moisture it pulls moisture from the environment hence your face have to be moist and damp to apply it else your just pulling water out of your skin hence the dryness.
@@JAYJAY-ch4ik I don’t dry my face. Still didn’t work for me. Everyone’s different.
@@JAYJAY-ch4ik what’s worked for me is using straight vegetable glycerin (as my humectant) on wet skin followed by moisturizer. Works perfectly. I live in an arid climate so hopefully anyone seeing this knows they aren’t alone!
@@JAYJAY-ch4ik nah some people are just sensitive to HA. Because of that sensitivity, irritations starts compounding the more you use it, which then dries out the skin. I'm sensitive to it as well which explains why I have reacted to almost every product I've tried for the past 4 yrs 😬 I finally found a serum for hydration that acts like HA without any irritation when it came to the marine hyaluronic
I love marine hyaluronics too, i use it under niacinamide and zinc serum, they work so well together

Great review! I've been using the alpha arbutin in HA from TO for melasma. I like it a lot, it really helps and goes well under sunscreen. Would the marine product replace that or would I use it in addition as an extra hydrator underneath? I'm combo skin so always looking for ways to hydrate, especially when using acids and retinoids which are very drying to my skin. Thanks so much!
Great question and you would use it alongside as it wont be able to replace the benefit of the alpha arbuten.. You could use it just once a day for that extra hydration boost.. Hope everything is amazing with you xx

I am 20 and badly irritated by The Ordinary HA+B5 that it cause redness some weird small pimple i have combination skin with blackheads...

I agree, I don't like Hyaluronic Acid + B5 but i do love the Marine one :P I always wonder how Amino Acid + B5 is different than this 2? I mean all 3 are hydrators but i am still not sure why to chose Amino Acid over this 2 for example. I read as well on Deciem Chat Room that they recommend using Amino Acid + B5 for chapped lips too, u think the same ? Greetings From Amsterdam :P
Hey hun thank you so much for watching and I hope all is amazing with you... There are some differences though like you say all of the products are hydrators.. the amino acids are actually more easily absorbed and are used by the body to strengthen and hydrate the cells so encourage the body to create its own hydration which is why its so so good on the lips and has more long term benefits.. the hyaluronic products are all short term fixes which will draw hydration to the skin but not have significant long term benefits.. Does it have to be applied on damp or wet skin?
Could anyone recommend a good moisturiser to lock it in with? I've been looking at the Sunday Riley vitamin C moisturiser (although I know it's a bit pricey) but wondered whether it would be any good with this? C
Just get cerave pm facial moisturiser if u have oily skins if not use the typical cream. It’s good.
@@JAYJAY-ch4ik udk I tried it and it legit started burned my face, and my skin wasn't dry at all to begin with. It made it super red too
since HA is a humectant you want to seal in the moisture with an occlusive, so oils such as coconut or jojoba or shea butter etc

All good things aside. One thing to note is that this marine HA consists BHA which is good but people often forget it and add extra BHA/retinoids serum after it. If you have sensitive skin, you might want to be careful with the dosage otherwise this product is all well-rounded.

It's really not enough to have a compounding effect when mixed with chemical exfoliators. It has a very miniscule amount just to help with hydration and doesn't really do anything with exfoliating

I have this product and use it in the morning.. I don't think this does anything it is like water ans my skin doesnt feel any different I'm going to finish the bottle but wont repurchase
