I really enjoy technical Tuesdays
Started with the neutral and went to the high strap.. seems much more natural for me.. love the company guys!! Amazing work.. just got my cr as well!!
As always great info and explanation of how your backstrap system works.
I just want to say I took my new CR920 to the range today, put 200 rounds through it, and not 1 malfunction
i did a holster draw at a fixed point with a mirror facing my side. when a drew, i kept my arms as still as possible and looked at the mirror and chose the one that had the most lvl draw. i ended up using the high becuase i have a more aggressive point of aim. an example of this is the wps video of john and pual showing off their grip
From CEO to CEO: I love how you run your company. Huge fan. These videos is phenomenal. I recently purchased my first pistol and I got an XR920. All your technical tuesdays were amazing and I've learnt a ton.
Thanks for the explanation. Excellent!
Thank you that explains it perfectly
Thanks for the information.
How about sell stand alone frames..sure would like to swap out for one of those grey ones
❤❤❤the interchangeable backstaps.
Trevor; Great instructional video on backstraps. As a brand new owner of the MR920L, I laughed a little about 9mm. recoil and control coming from 9 years firing only 45acp. I am a believer now, and have been playing musical chairs with the straps low and neutral, because my palm swell was not firm at the beaver tail. I was avoiding the high strap,(it's for Glocks!!) put it on and the grip and aim point are tighter than the other two. Now if I can just get the slide to open upon empty, now after over 400 rounds!?
Love the low one, points more natural for me.
Same
same here, and I found that ironic as I have a bunch of Glocks (which tend to be more like the high backstrap) and am very accurate with all of them.
I’ll keep it simple lol. I just left the neutral one on there and got busy. I’m in around 4k rounds and haven’t bothered trying the other 2 blackstrap’s or the magwell piece. It’s a hell of a shooter, I absolutely love my mr920 elite.
Hard core Glock shooter. High back strap all the way. I’m 100% sold on your company. These guns just works for me. I can hit the same ragged hole at 25 yards and with an MR with minimal effort. Keep up the amazing quality. Looking forward to your Gen5 offering some day…I’m a lefty. 😉
Love these backstraps
We need a MR923!
Would love to see brass backstraps at some point for those of us who desire more weight for USPSA, etc. I've resorted to filling the cavities in my low backstrap with Tungsten BBs and tungsten putty, which has better me ~1.4oz. I imagine a brass backstrap would add ~ 3.5oz.
Good stuff as usual.
Requesting you offer a quality hard case with shadow systems branding and logo for purchase.
The soft option that comes with the pistol is nice but all my others have a branded hard case.
Sure would be nice….
Just saying
Is there any way to order one of these without the large beaver tail?
I use the largest (low) strap on my MR. Its constant with a stock Glock angle all generations.
I have an MR920, XR920 and DR920 low across the board
Mr920 mine had all the same size back straps had to order other sizes
I shoot my CR 920 very well. My MR920 shoots consistently high. Should I be using 6 o’clock hold?
I have big hands with the grip that has the most real estate . High gives the most real estate on the grip . The NEUTRAL is close but my support hand does not have full contact without altering my grip . The low is just way too small for me .
The backstrap breakdown is as follows: High=Glock, Neutral -CZ, Low-1911, Sig, S&W, (most guns on the American market)
Neutral is also similar to the Walther.
It's also considered the "natural point of aim" angle. But use what works best for you. I personally like a lower but not low back strap because it makes finding the dot easier for me.
Just in time
I need that grey frame

@@ShadowSystemsCorp thank you
Just because I enjoy trolling you guys at this point, I am still waiting on my MR920S. Though I do appreciate this video.
Chase, we shipped your MR920S to your dealer three months ago. You should go pick it up. Trevor
@@ShadowSystemsCorp😂
@@ShadowSystemsCorp Haha! Good thing I planned on going to Fuquay gun today ;) For real though, you guys are doing great and I love my MR920 and CR920.
I used L cause I hate glock grip 😅and it feels much better with low one. 😉
I have to disagree with this video ever so slightly. As a predominant M&P shooter, the SS Low backstrap is a very close comparison. It's a wonderful grip angle and makes the SS an extremely comfortable gun to shoot!
