If you have never handled or shot a Shadow Systems pistol, find one at your local dealer and pay attention to how the frame locks your hand into a high position on the grip. Here we go into the details of how to get the most out of our frames and some tips for using magwells and magazines to maximize recoil control.

Even the foundation series irons are awesome. I like a blacked out rear and front so I use a sharpie and black out the front iron. Saves me $50 because I don’t need to but the ameriglo’s

Woah woah woah, I swear by shadow systems.
The MR920 with the shadow thread on comp is my winter go to. Spring and fall CR920P, hot mid summer CR920. I have an MR920 on me right now.
Super natural pointing to me. Die hard shadow fan.
This is why I put the magwell on immediately after buying the MR920 Elite right after you guys released it (the same type in this video). I also put a zev comp v2 and trijicon sro on right away. The dot stays on target the whole time and the only thing slowing me down is my trigger manipulation. Money well spent!

I love the MR920, partly because it has so little felt recoil. It's such a flat-shooting gun. I hope you'll be releasing a 10mm model soon.

I use the Angus Hobdel grip. The front of the trigger guard is flat and textured for a reason.

Shadow makes one of the best grip modules on the market. The iron sites are spot on and quality. The one thing that drives me insane is that they do not have a ful pic rail on the front of the slide. the Glock one groove is ugly.
Any words on a +5 extension for the cr920?

If you really analyze it, $399 ain't bad for what you get an excellent optic cut, sights, and a fully built slide backed by Shadow Systems quality, reputation, and reliability. It's a pretty darn good deal.

Love your guy’s stuff I’ve owned 3 pistols so far and have loved them all but I’m wondering if you’d guy ever consider a glock 48 clone out of a long frame long slide cr920 as it would replace my Glock 48 mos I currently carry , comps are cool but I work nights and it’s a big no go compared to a Glock 48 which ends up with about the same recoil as the cr920p without as much flash and sound to the face
Just Fyi bud a Glock 48 barrel fits the CR920 just fine. I havent fired it like this but the 48 barrel has the same dimensions as the 43 except for the length.

Curious if Shadow Systems has DA/SA polymer pistol in the works with an optics ready slide. For anyone that utilizes appendix carry this would be a great option; not to mention that there is little to no competition for polymer hammer fire pistols, with an optic ready slide. CZ, HK, and Beretta make great polymer hammer fire pistols but all come without an optic ready slide. They are still milking money based off their old designs. How about a Shadow Systems version that takes Glock mags. That would shake up the industry not to mention the paradigm of your company!
Why would they go DA/SA? Theyre about 85% Glock internals.

It is an absolute CHAMP! NO ISSUES IN OVER 5K rds shoota any ammo. Shoots so flat, especially if u put a light on.. even flatter faster with comp & light! It's my everyday in trex sidecar.

Hay bud I was wandering if you can post a video on a issue I was having not just me but there's another guy having a issue with yr pistol when I squeeze my trigger the slide moves and and the gun does not fire when it does this. it also can fix itself mine is working now but I do not know what caused this you can see the problem for yr self if you type in shadow weapon issue this other guy posted a video so you can see what I'm talking about if you can make a video on this topic and how to fix it would be great I love yr pistol my model is the mr920 but I can't trust it to carry until I figure out what caused this to happen I can't have this happen when I really need it

Isn't that just buying a comp from SS and install on your MR920?
@@JohnZ556not necessarily. The DRP is technically an MR barrel and slide with the comp adding enough length to make it a G34-length upper. An MR920P would probably be something like a G43/CR slide with a comp making the upper about the length of a G17
@@JohnZ556 No, I already have that... which takes the MR out to G34-length. I want an MR w/ an integrated comp (like the CR-P and DR-P) that equals G17-length.

@@JohnZ556 Nope. It sticks out the bottom of a G17 holster about 1/2 an inch

No one will say that the frame and slide are so light that it is painful to shoot! Recoil transfers to the trigger and your index finger suffer so much that you must stop shooting!
Bro didn’t talk about grip pressure. Death grip with both hands. If your support hand isn’t sore at the end of the day you didn’t grip hard enough
