This is the same version played at my dads funeral in 1981, i was 10 yrs old, I will never forget this song nor that sad lonely day..What a Blessing to still be able to listen to their Music!

if I recall this song was #1 on the gospel charts for a good while.... if ever there was a sermon in a song this is it. The Bible is full of such songs ready to be written and sung! Who will do it???

I was singing this song Tuesday night as I working and usually that's a sign good or bad just depends on what's going on. The Lord gave me the song in my Spirit last night and I was singing it. I felt so sad but I still don't know but The LORD will show me in time.

Definitely can feel the spirit of the Lord in these older songs. The Cathedrals were one of the best. Know there in a better place.
I can say with confidence that there will never be a quartet as good as the Cathedral's were.

A lot of people have sing this song over the years, but never heard anyone do it like Glen Payne and Danny Funderburk.
