Amazing, Lamborghini Diablo in red colour was my favourite car when I was kid :-) My father have book car encyclopedia and I looked at images, it is great to see videos of that car now, it looks amazing :-)
Still by far one of Lamborghini's best looking models, it was a true Italian supercar, more true and better looking than anything the company makes today, fact.
Back when fuel consumption wasn’t even a consideration for automakers, the only thing that’s electronic were rear and headlights and supercars were only intended to be supercars and not everything at once...
Spinning Back-Kick you’re too triggered by a comment that obviously had a margin of exaggeration in it,calm your tits. Besides,I didn’t say anything that implies electronics being bad or uncool or alike
Diablo SV is still my favorite car of all time. It's gotta have the SV logo in black on the side, preferably over a yellow paint job. Or, red SV over blue :-) I played Hot Pursuit III on my Windows 95-98 machine throughout my childhood, and I credit that with my love of Lamborghinis!
I almost forgot how awesome the rear haunches on the Diablo look when viewed head on...might not be the best handling 'supercar', but DAMN, it looks and sounds amazing!
@D B lamborghini built the horrible LM002 when they where "italian", it was awfull in every single aspect. And lets say, germans saved lambo and created some of the most beautifull lambos out there. the Murcielago SV and the Aventador SVJ are simply amazing, there is no reason to hate on them. If you cant recognize that, you are just close minded.
D B PLEASE stfu. Lamborghini is still responsible for most of their production and innovation with the newer models as well. A record breaking screaming V12 isn't a "real" Lamborghini? Get off your soapbox jackass. They're still one of the premiere exotic brands with the noise, style, and numbers to back it up. Idk if you're nostalgic or naive but think b4 u comment.
I don't know why everyone has a problem with paddle shifters, since F1 drivers have been using them for well over 30 years. The Ferrari Enzo is one of the greatest cars of all time and it came with an F1 gearbox.
Diablo is the best looking Lambo ever created.I say they bring the diablo back in style with DRL head lights, different tail lights, and updated interior
Even when compared to modern day cars, the Diablo GT is STILL the sexiest and most muscular looking exotic car on the planet IMO! Just imagine the Diablo lineup with a little more legroom, modern day tech and reliability. This car has a timeless look that just doesn't get old!
When the Aventador came out, it was my favorite Lamborghini. Now it is the Murcielago Raodster. But watching this i'm kinda falling in love with the Diablo. If this continues my favorite Lamborghini will be the Countach in a couple years!
never cared much for the Diablo... but then again, I'd grown up in the era and reign of the Countach... when the Diablo came out it felt like a step in reverse... cool car never-the-less
Ferrari and will always be my most personally revered make for a car....but I think after all these years, I have finally found a Lamborghini which I actually love the design and style!...wow!! This and the Murcielago!
J. Stormer yes the car with the 100 sticker on the side it even sounded wounded. I don’t know how the owner couldn’t here the car struggling like that & I even managed to hear it. Sounded like it was misfiring or a piston or something expensive was on its way out.
Not burning oil, it looks like the engine is running rich though. The ignition systems on these early fuel injected V12s are really tricky to tune and one cylinder bank will often get out of sync with the other and the result is the whole engine running pretty badly and belching smoke (unburned fuel). I work on early BMW V12s and their engine management system is the same as the Lamborghini Diablo's. The BMW and Lamborghini engines even look nearly identical, down to the placement of the lettering on the intake manifold.
@@michu6777 I was gonna ask for that, I've seen both on the metal and the engines looks pretty freaking similar, i almost thought they were even made by the same people.
Love that ridiculous Mercedes at the end that is trying to make some sound...LOL That diablo was an insane machine, remember staring at it when I was a kid, it was frightening and it still is today.
Something about the Diablo and murcielago makes them so much cooler than the Aventador and idk what it is, maybe cuz it reminds us of childhood dreams/posters?
A lot of people love the older Popup Headlights. But for me, I really think the fixed Z32 Headlights did the Diablo justice in the end, especially on the GT. The Carbon Fiber Eyelines really give it a menacing look head on, like the Bull it actually is. By the time the Popups open, the Diablo loses its menacing touch with a sad look instead.
Miura is the Original, Countach is Designing Masterpiece, Diablo? Modernization of the formula, The GT is Just Gorgeous in the most Extreme Lamborghini way, then the Murcielago just solidified this engine as a Masterpiece and the Murcie SV did it Complete Justice
Bob Forstner Park Lane in London has one of these, last time I was there! It was dark green, if I remember correctly, so green that it appeared black on my camera!
Random fact, when Lambo face-lifted the Diablo they chose to ditch the pop up headlights as they felt they made the car look dated, but they didn't want to waste R&D money making new ones, so they bought surplus 1989 Nissan 300ZX headlights (which Nissan no longer needed as they had just face-lifted that car and changed the lights), it's both comical and awesome, and still looks cool :)
Ever wonder why the Diablo started looking like a Nisan 300ZX in the front when it gave up its popup headlights? That's because the new fixed aerodynamic headlights were actually from the Nissan 300ZX! Lamborghini didn't have time to design headlights for the Diablo in order to meet the production timeline. Therefore, they looked to Nissan! True car history story.
yeah nice old school Lambo Diablo GT. Diablos iconic shape will always remain classic and legendary. nothing against all the new Lambos, and also i dont really care much of todays speed and acceleration... Mot important fun and its feeling while driving, raw Diablo.
The raw sound, in an era before the fake electronic crackles and backfires. Just pure good ol V12.

Hi Bladed :D

I remember seeing the Diablo as a kid, and thinking what an insane and beautiful looking machine it is. Its aged so well.
Yeah definitely still in style
Lamborghini must here us out BRING BACK THE MIURA COUNTACH AND DIABLO!
i started collecting Lamborghini stuf in early 90 s,and in a book was this the new one at the end of the pages,,,,I was hooked
F40, Diablo, F50 and McLaren F1 looks still good. Pure beasts from the Great area!
Amazing, Lamborghini Diablo in red colour was my favourite car when I was kid :-) My father have book car encyclopedia and I looked at images, it is great to see videos of that car now, it looks amazing :-)
Hands down the best looking Lambo. A perfect mix of new and old.
The Lamborghini Diablo GT is an incredible beast, it's what Lamborghini stands for!

Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit

Absolutely gorgeous car! Always loved the Diablo GT.
Late 80s and 90s were the pinnacle of sportscar engineering.
How so?
The 2000's was the true pinnacle of sports and supercars.
I prefer the sound of these older Lamborghini V12's. It was more of a primal roar as opposed to the screaming high rpm stuff they make today.
You can blame the VAG group for the shitty modern lambo sound.
Agree 100%
@@warwickstingray what they sound unbelievable
I love the way they look too. New ones look extremely childish and over designed like the svj.
Murcielago´s sound was the best imo
I’d take this over any newer Lambo except for the Murci SV. The Countach and Diablo are such timeless beauties!
Agreed. If the murci sv would have a manual it would be perfect.
