Getting more excited about this round. Love the idea of an EZ with this round. Perfect option for my 74 year old cousin.
Why? Recoil is the same as 9mm. Your cousin salivating over paying twice as much for ammo for two extra rounds?
It should be good for anyone with diminished grip and wrist strength.
Found a Smith & Wesson 30 Super Carry at the gun shop last week and the price was $531 before tax so I went ahead and put it back in layaway and plan on getting it out sometime within the next 3 or 4 weeks maybe and take it to the range and give it a try.
Its 2024 and S&W needs to bring their 30 SC Shield EZ & Shield Plus, in line with their .380 & 9mm performance center options. Love to see a Shield Ez in 30 super carry tricked out by the performance center like the .380 is with ported barrel, high viz sights, & trigger! Get it done & I'll buy one!
Hoping other manufacturers adopt their micro compacts for the .30 super carry. In particular, I'd love to see a P365XL version with 15 rounds of .30SC.
Just bought the EZ 30SC. It's awesome and has more penetration than a 9mm! Like all ammo you buy today it's overpriced...a few bucks less than 9mm.
Is the optics available on both the ez and plus?

The 9mm Luger was developed over a 100 years ago to replace the 7.65 (32) X 21mm 30 Luger. This round duplicates the 30 luger.
Should have chambered in the a .38 super comp

@@enricomandragona163....and currently (June '23) it is unavailable. Unless the ammo becomes made in large volume, and, Starline makes inexpensive brass, it just won't catch on.

Not even close. The new round has as much recoil as the 9mm. So it rivals rather the 9mm.
@@Gieszkanne I dont know anyone who has one, but from the side by side on youtube the recoil isnt dramatically different.
@@jamesgullo8240 Some reviewers like Hickok45 shot them even side by side with the EZ 9mm and say that they cant really feel a difference.

More expensive ammo that's not readably available. PASS and you have to buy more guns when you can just keep buying 9mm guns and ammo for LESS. 50 rounds of .30 Super carry ball ammo. $33.00
I put the S&W 30 Super Carry in layaway last week and the gun shop I was at had ammo for it at $24 for a box of 50.
I just feel bad for Guns Owners that they have to pay 💰 a lot of money for this new Amo and then they talk about protect the second amendment how we supposed to Survive with this changes I hope they are not des continued the 9mm ammo
9 mm isn’t going anywhere. This is just an option.
