The balls in the stomach moment in the forge 😂 accidentally rolling towards the edge of what ur standing on. One of the scariest things in the game at times😂
10:27 - One of the Bloodfiends walking around in the lake drops his weapon (guaranteed) on kill. Its the "Bloodfiends Sacred Spear" greatspear. You need to specifically kill the one walking around that raises his spear buffs the other enemies there. The other bloodfiend there has a random chance of dropping the "Bloodfiends Fork" regular spear.

I told Boc he could call me master and everytime I see him I cheer him up with his mother’s voice if he is looking sad. Point is, He seems happy to me. I can’t know his feelings because I’m not him, but he seems to finally believe his life is “worth it.”… 🤷♂️
This is my second run through the dlc. First was blind. I'm surprised that so far I haven't missed anything except for some stuff with NPC quests. This is my first souls game and I'm having a very good time
FYI, if you run into two smithing golems at the same time, you can just hit one with a bunch of crystal darts until it goes berserk and they kill each other. Also works on Erdtree watchdogs and imps.

At 10:26, one of the big guys in the lake drops the Bloodfiend's Sacred Spear. AoW is very similar to Mohg's spear, and I'm fairly certain it's a 100% drop (two playthroughs now)

I believe you are correct. I mentioned in another comment I've been playing with a Discovery multiplier on the whole time and that is the only Bloodfiend that has dropped the Sacred version of the Bloodfork for me. I missed it too, until I read your comment, so thanks! I'd been wondering if there was a way to get that as an Ash of War somewhere...
@@FightinCowboy You can get the Bloodfiend's Bloodfork from any Bloodfiend that has it, but this is a special version of it.

It’s not a coincidence that I also got the spear at the same place in two different runs. Both first tries. But then it is still hot garbage so who cares really.
For the dual golems at 16:44, crystal darts are the answer!

Man I really love following these guides cause it alleviates my fomo on items/quests.. but damn bro I haven’t fought a boss in like 5 days lol. I realize that’s mostly my fault for following guides slowly / not having time to play but I’m feeling it now lol. Not really a constructive comment but more of a poor me comment 🎉
im in the exact same boat. I keep telling myself I will just play through on my own but then I see how much stuff he finds that I absolutely never would have found and then continue the guide because im afraid of missing stuff lol.

I understand why you say it's not worth it to fight those two Golems that are together in Taylew's Forghe...but those two Golems are the only ones I've found so far that can drop the Golem Fists! (I decided to play with a drop rate multiplier on, so I could have the chance to check out every weapon).That being said, thanks for doing what you do!
No they don't they drop the greatbow and the helberd.

20:36 That pipe is an Archimedes Screw pump. It's pumping lava, which is pretty bad-ass.
Cool little tidbit I discovered by accident, I jumped the gun on Moore several episodes ago but I was still able to get the remaining cookbooks 4, 5, and 6. 6 I had to reload the game but I still got it. So for anyone that chose "Put it behind you" early there is still hope to get the remaining cookbooks without having to do an entirely new playthrough. Also, Cowboy you are amazing for these walkthroughs!

the whole part about him rolling and almost falling and his balls went into his stomach hahaha. I watched a video of a caster that used Tayleu summons and heal from afar to kill final boss. The summons killed him just getting healed! Pretty fun.
I actually had a stupid death on my third DLC run in the forge, and what Cowboy says at 21:08 is uncharacteristically wrong- once you've moved the pipe it is a straight shot up to the top even from the start. So don't worry if you die!
Edit: likely common knowledge by now, but Taylew is perfectly capable of beating any DLC boss with a bit of help healing and buffing. He is likely the most powerful summon in the game used correctly.
I died to gravity in the forge and ended up dieing again whilst trying to find my way back because I'd already pulled the lever. Glad I didn't have 3 million plus credits!
Discus of light works alright for the stone golems inside the forges. The disk travels through them and damages them on the weak spot on its way back to you. Works better if you got high stats on whatever it scales from. I got high faith build.
you can use crystal darts on those rocky dudes with the ruby thing on their back in the lava dungeon, they are golems after all : )
Just spent a hour farming the forge golems .. finally got the fists …I was hoping they had a unique skill but they’re not to bad

Tip for using great stars against Gollum’s in forge. Put regular lions claw on. Spam that absolutely wrecks them and breaks their poise so quick.
The backhand blades work the best for me against the forge golem smiths. use the ash of war Blind Spot, and you instantly stab them in the back for very little fp. Rinse and repeat, he won't lay a glove on you. Great job on the walkthroughs! Followed Fightin" Cowboy every step of the way new game plus 7, now second time doing dlc, keep up the good work.
Just to reiterate a previous comment in a older videos comment section pertaining to the forge golems, if you have access to discus of light it trivializes fighting them.
Ambush Shard works as well if you have INT build.
Discus is great as it will stagger them after around 7-8 casts I think maybe less.
But found today you can stun them with crystal darts. Smack em a couple times and crit to kill
With the latest patch, after you hit the switch in the forge to flip the column and then you die you do not have to re flip the switch. It now stays flipped, thankfully

You can recover that by doing Wave of Gold at Mohgwyn Palace Approach Ledge about 50 times. 20s for each = approx 17 mins total + 2 larval tears if you are not a faith build to spec into and out of a faith build to use the weapon. Because of this security I am never afraid to double die :)

cowboy you should tryout the blood fiends blood arm for a big bonk. definitely one of the best big bonks in the dlc.

FYI those blood fiends that you left alive at 10:30 drop the blood fiend's sacred spear. I'm almost certain it's a guaranteed drop.

Bear guy can proc bleed on you extremely fast. i-frame or block/shield away from that 4-5 swipe combo he does. The last hit will absolutely decimate your HP bar.

Cowboy, did you use cheat table for your 982 Great Ghost Glovewort?? There's no unlimited supply of Great Ghost Gloveworth in the base game if I remembered correctly it's only 4.

Use the ancient meteoric ore greatsword pierce to loop stagger Red bear. Only had to heal once.
Looking at the map he missed Main gate plaza grace after boss fight. He got shadow keep gate but forgot to touch grace after boss fight. I think it was the hippo fight.
from dropped the ball with the spirit ashes, so many of them are useless, in fact you could say that they are all useless compared to the mimic
there should be at least a few that are situationally better than the mimic tear at times
such a big portion of the game that players just ignore once they get the mimic
If you fight in the pond (10:38) you hace a chance to get the bloodfiends sacred spear)
Boc is the only Npc with a happy ending if you do it right , hes the only Npc who survive in the end
Its just worrh pointing out that although cowboy doesnt rate Taylew the golem ash and thinks its too slow, he is wrong.
Taylew is situational and its true hes slow, but man he can hold agro and take a beating.
At Revered Spirit Ash Blessing of 10 and used in conjunction with 'heal from afar' Taylew is quite capable of literally soloing consort radahn while you hang back on the outskirts.
Just run in and throw a couple of heals to refill his life bar every time taylew gets down to about 30%.
Amd that was ng+5 and before radahn was nerfed.

@PabloPerez-ep5zn true, but if you kill him, you get a +8 Spear, his Leather Armor, Leather Gloves and Leather Boots, which look really good and his bell-bearing, along with a funny outro line of dialogue as he's fading away. 😊

I smashed the red bear dude with savage lions claw on the great sword. That ash is amazing if timed right. And with the right set up. KO’d the golems in like two hits. Fucking love this game.

PRO TIPPPPPP Use Discus of light on those Forge bastards it hits them in the front then back and it melts them better than anything I've found without having to do the dance. Hopefully cowboy sees this and can get it out there. Maybe I'll find a recent video and try to comment it

The Red Bear guy isn't bad but they must have done something to that roar attack...I have more vigor than Cowboy and if he hits it with me once and im not 100% health it one shots me. It takes 97% of my health in one shot.
You blocking with a beefy shield, as Cowboy did? I’m also using the Haligtree Crest shield. Red bear one shot me without it.
