I love the overhead shots. Great video as usual. Many years ago the wife and I rode Amtrak through the Yakima river canyon. Stampede was closed so we rode over Snoqualmie on the Milwaukee tracks. This must have been about 1979. Long very bad rail but a once in a lifetime chance. The train was back on BN’s rails at Easton at which point we were making up time. What a difference. I remember the squealing of the flanges on the many curves in the canyon. We got to Yakima, fooled around for a while and caught the westbound a while later. Going over Snoqualmie Pass in the dark back to Renton.
You should try documenting the Yakima Valley Sub which starts in Ellensburg. Not a lot of people take videos of the Yakima Valley, so one would be nice.

Wonderful video! I love Stampede Pass and the Yakima Valley. Nice interspersing of nature shots, especially the beaver. Nice work!
Thank you Michael!
I live winter, best time to railfan!
It's pretty great!
Nice shots!
Thank you!

I actually have a video where more than half of the footage is on the Yakima Valley Sub!

My spot mmmm
The beaver shot is sick.
Yeah I was happy with that shot, my first time actually seeing a beaver in person.
