Be careful with metal spoons on the nonstick surface. They now come with a utensil to use in them that won't scratch.
I use the mini waffle maker and make the Banana bread Waffles in that booklet, but I also add some pecan pieces, a little vanilla, and some cinnamon. My favorite! Might give that a try too, very simple ingredients.

Did you know that you can use your Dash 2 Cup Mini Rice Cooker to stuff it with sammie ingredients too -- like a stuffed Waffle Maker does? Yes 👍, I make home Raisins Bread with that Fluffy Pancake Recipe and put my sammie fixings into the batter. Midway through the 2nd cooking cycle I flip the bread over, to crisp it on both sides (top and bottom). Makes great stuffed sammies without needing a Stuffler Waffle Maker machine. You can get really creative with that base Fluffy Pancake Recipe! Husband's favorite is a stuffed Ham, Turkey, Fresh Onion Slices, and Swiss Cheese inside his Raisins Bread (aka: Fluffy Pancake) yummy 😋 .

Since these use only 200 watts they can be used with almost any sized solar power station for emergency power outages or camping. I have to know all these things living in hurricane country.
I'm going to try to cook a half a lemon cake in my dash cooker. I hope it turns out. I guess you're supposed to leave it cooking in warm for awhile, after the cook button pops up, then push down cook button again, when it's able to go down. I would then, keep an eye on it.
I made a dump chicken, and egg noodles soup with canned peas, carrots, onions, spices, and cream of mushroom soup. It turned out perfect! I even added a little rice. The spices really added allot of flavor.

Have bought it for many years RV trips to fish around Ontario and White Lake, still avaliable kin NC grocery stores as Canadian Bacon, round roll, thin cut, solid meat, yummie

Hello Dee. I don’t know if you mentioned this on any of your shows, but I just heard here in California that a lot of the WW employees are being laid off and many of the zoom and in person meetings are closing. Do you know anything about this? I don’t want WW to go away🙏
the only thing I know is there are getting out of their own locations and have some locations open that they can rent by the hour (like churches , hotels) . Looks like they are down sizing . Going less in person and more virtual

I would suggest no metal spoon..I use ‘m amy air fryer every day and use no metal..scratches sneak up in ya. And I am Trader Joe’s fan since md-80s in Philly. Now in Orlando area and still live ‘em.

@@dishwithdee I didn’t mean to sound mean..that was rude … I apologize. but now that there is dirt in my yard that is younger than I am … but it was my bad..it’s so = too easy to grab a spoon and give stuff a toss. It adds up. But I have noticed on YT and TikTok that folks who are afraid to use cheddar instead of American in fear they will ruin the recipe will ask almost for permission to change it…what.,’yes! you have my blessing’ I holler at the iPad screen. then there there are those lovely folks that are doing it exactly to measure and they don’t like it - and correct me if I’m wrong - rattle off all the ingredients they don’t like in the first place - rather than substitute what they DO like and give you…as the reason it was a dud…sad actually…I am sure you are familiar Dylan Hollis who recreates old recipes. Besides being hysterically funny, and too often semi-politically incorrect-. It is a joy watching him recreating old recipes from old cookbooks. It’s a roller coaster of info ..example Velveeta-chocolate cake and for all intents and purposes it’s great. I’ll bet there are some that could work with this cute little thing. I digress .sorry..but you have to encourage people to out what they like in…a recipe is only as good as a person creativity want it to be…so I did enjoy your use of TJs items. I will try some of your easy-Peasy recipes…even the oatmeal. Havre you tried yet or do grits work ..as I think the ratio is ‘one thumb to a 1/4 good smudge of grit and salt….
So thanks again..doing a yellow rice something now. With my trusty air fryer I approach my meals as an adventure in OMG. Me and 6 bozo cats …. The fear I have seen expressed on YT to ‘turn the damn thing on - it’s nit gonna bite you’ is hysterical…you learn the basics and try little tips and tricks…I guess it’s like getting to know people…a little rocky sometimes at first..and in time it either blossoms into a live,y, yummy relationship ir ya put that relationship into the “OMG, what was I thinking Gail! You idiot.’ And you never make spam cake again..haha.

I thought I was doing good, was using oatmeal at 170 cal for serving, changed to 140 per serving, discovered that serving is only 1/4 cup where the other was 170 but was 1/2 cup.
