    Dash Mini Griddle - amzn.to/2YHhM05

If you take the initial half that you broke off the stack soak it in water for a few minutes till they are soft. Then you use a large flat hamburger flipper (be careful to keep the noodles in their original shape!) put them on the waffle iron add cheese then close the waffle iron. When the noodles are done they form kind of like a hamburger patty. I add tomato, avocado and a scrambled egg and wrap it in lettuce. Crunchy and yummy (I cook the eggs the same time as the noodles on our large waffle iron) I’ve done this for 40 years, since I was a teen! P.S. you can also do this while camping using an over the fire cast iron waffle griddle.

Great idea. I wouldn't have even thought of PAN frying. On the road I "cook" noodles in my thermos & steel cut oats overnight in thermos with boiling water.

That's a great idea. I've never tried that in a thermos.

Ramen noodles are really good with garlic butter. Toss the flavor packet, drain the noodles and add a teaspoon of pre made garlic butter. You can get it at the store to make your own garlic bread. Or just add.your own butter and seasoning.

What neat ideas . I have taken to always putting a plate under my Dash devices. Helps the cleanup. The pancake is a really interesting one.

I recently moved into a retirement/assisted living facility and we don’t have stoves, only Microwaves. I ordered a Dash mini griddle today and subscribed to your channel. I plan on cooking a pork chop or cube steak once in a while to supplement the food here. I think I could also make a soup using broth heated in the microwave and adding the noodles. Lots of possibilities. Thank you for your channel.

Amazing what you can cook in the mini appliances. I love that TJ seasoning, maybe a few dashes of coconut aminos in that first dish. Both are good ideas.

Once saw on a PBS cooking show over 30yrs. ago a recipe showed how pan fry noodles to crisp the outside and keep the inside soft. Tried it and found them to be delicious. Using the ramen certainly appears to simplify the steps. Thanks.

You could just pour the eggs over the first batch of noodles that you cooked, the ones that were soft. 😎

I need to try this! I love your content and the alternative uses for my MINI's...Only one I have not used is the BUNDT pan maker. Got it new for $5.00 in box. Maybe you can come up with a mini lasagna or pasta dish...or even a casserole. I'm not creative, but I can imitate. Thank for sharing. My FAVORITE DASH appliance is the Dash mini electric skillet. Not sure they sell it any more, but a killer for making all kinds of things.

I experimented with my bundt maker. English muffin batter bakes very nicely in it so I can very quickly make some bread. No kneading and only a short rise time. I'm still perfecting the quantities to get one bundt bread. So far this is close: 1/2 cup water, 1/2 teaspoon yeast, pinch of sugar. Let it froth, add enough flour to make a thick batter, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cover the bowl with plastic and let it work for 10 minutes. To be honest, I skip the frothing part when I know my yeast is good. Pour into the cold bundt maker, to just below the top. Close and switch on. Test after 10 minutes. I like the bread well browned so 12 worked well for me. This is enough bread for a satisfying sandwich.
I'm planning to try this with a baking powder batter or even packaged pancake mix. In this case, I'll heat the device before pouring in the batter.

The pancake looked amazing, so I just went and made my hubby one with the honey and cinnamon and he loved it, the only thing he said was that it needed a pinch of salt. He said I can put that on the breakfast rotation. Thank you so much for sharing this great idea !! :)

You could unstick those noodles simply by rinsing them under cold water because they are starchy that's how they stick together that way that's why they make with stir fry they usually use a little soy sauce and they kind of batter it around in a pan but if you're not going to do that then your best bet is to rinse them heat them up for a few minutes after having rinsed them so they will not be cold and then just add whatever topping you want and it will be more like spaghetti and less like sticky ramen.

You could also add to those noodles once they're cooked a little tomato paste you know when it was still a little bit wet a little tomato paste and mix it up around it and or tomato flakes even and add some Parmesan cheese and you would have had a nice spaghetti too...

I probably wouldn't cook ramen like this, but, I get the experiment. I'd suggest trying Maruchan ramen. The noodles have a very different texture than Top Ramen.

Same. I got a cart in the corner next to the mini fridge with a dash rice cooker and large griddle, a kettle, small French press, and toaster oven on top of the fridge. I only paid for the fridge. The rest friends gave me either used or brand new as a gift. I dream of having a microwave one day 😊
I keep a storage container under my futon. It holds my plates, bowl, cutlery, cup and glass, and spices. I place my cutting board on it to use as a work surface, then put it all away when I’m done.

I bought the mini griddle to use in the semi truck I drove. then later I bought the 8 inch griddle. I really like them both. At home the 8 inch one is very useful. I have made eggs, pancakes, and chocolate chip cookies the most. But have also fried hot dogs, and I have also used a metal coffee cup to make coffee and tea. Your videos are a big help. I tried the biscuit pizza. It looked bad but tasted great. The 8 inch one is very good for grilled cheese.

I love crispy fried noodles. Boil then drain noodles, fry in butter then add cooked chicken, some frz veggies soaked in the hot water drained off the noodles. Toss until nice and crispy. Add some orange sauce to make it very tasty.

I stumbled upon your videos some time ago and love all the alternatives. i actually did try the griddle with ground beef after your grill vs griddle comparison and it turned out okay but i know if i had the grill it'd be a bit more...precise? soft? idk how to word it but you know what i mean.
I love the "will it griddle?" series! i've tried ramen microwaved w/ the flavor packets bc im too lazy to cook it on the stove and i didnt always like the result, so this is probably something I'd use the mini griddle for.

I gave you a thumbs up because I enjoy your experimentation but I think you could do a bit more I mean I know you are trying but there are things that I would do with a mini griddle if I could ever get one to this country which apparently I cannot. I think I would try making something similar to what you made but with a bit of cabbage and a bit of flour mixed together to make this it's not an omelet at all it's a I can't even pronounce it but there's so many things you can make with that thing I'm thinking of all the different possibilities it's like having a tiny little mini frying pan and you can make almost anything you want but you do have to consider size because it's obviously very small so you could make anything very big but you could make besides hamburgers you could make fish in there if you were inclined to you can make fish pancakes you could make blueberry muffins in that thing yeah it's not really muffin size I get that but I'm thinking more maybe sort of like a cookie sort of thing I may be wrong on that too I'm just so tired right now.

Very interesting. I bought a $10 pot 180watt on Ali lately. That can cook noodle and serve as a bowl nicely. This is 350watt and it can make fried noodles with time. Have you try cooking rice with this?

I don't think I'd call it a rum and pancake because there's no other flower in it and you don't have enough noodles to counter the amount of egg I would call it more of a omelette a ramen omelette.

The way you made that omelette if you added a tiny bit of rice and then folded it over you would have a Japanese rolled omelette based on the way you made it or if you took the egg out of a bit of flour you could technically if you put in a bit of cabbage have a what's it called that street food that Asian street food I forget if it's how to pronounce the name that I'm using voice to text it doesn't always put things down so I'm not even going to try to get it to spell I can't do it I just can't it just don't do it.
