This is still a data analyst 😅 it’s just data for a specific content sooo this sounds like it’s not dead at all your just working at specific company focused on a specific thing
I'd argue it's under the /general umbrella/ of being a data analyst, but, as he mentioned in the beginning of the video, getting into a niche/specialization helps you stand out. If you're too vague/general with what you do, you just blend in. Also, some of the jobs (such as environmental analyst) require specializations/a degree to have additional knowledge on top of just analytics.
Great video! I would just add EHR application analyst to the clinical analyst category. Although a certification from Epic or Cerner is needed the upside of this analyst job is tremendous.
Environment Analyst salary of 58-69k? I think Panada Express managers get paid more. This is a crazy low comp for how much time and education you have to put in. Unless...you work for the government and basically are unfireable with good benefits.
Great work Lukas. You are one of the few who are not looking to make viral videos to put fear on the DA job market. Instead, you have done a brilliant job of explaining, offering solutions, and giving a clear direction to the audience. First time here, so I already subscribed 👌🏿👌🏿
Me who did a career shift 1 year ago to become a Power BI Data Analyst: Aww no! here we go again! . . . The thing about my career shift is that I didn't do it for the clout, I haven't known that it was that "popular" a year ago, anywho! What I love about the Data Analysis in General is that it feels like you are a detective on some case, gathering puzzles and trying to make sense on anything, while trying to build a story! And yes, sadly Data Analyst has become so out of this world that we don't know why we are doing it anymore, It pains me to say but I agree, (and I am sure Data Sceitinst roles are next) We are on a fast paced era and everything changes in a whim !
I'm from Brazil, I want to work as a financial data analyst, I'm studying data analysis and finance and I'm going to start studying cyber security, I was going to machine learning, I'm looking for certifications and graduating and studying English, could you give me any tips? or help me a little in this process if it's not too much to ask.
flaco lo que mas hay es busquedas para data analyst, luego la empresa te moldea para lo que necesite (mkt analyst, customer analyst, ecommerce analyst, etc etc)
Nah I’m not dead lol I’m a DA. Think of his title as data driven clickbait 😂 these all encompass analyzing data in one way or another, just encouraging folks to think of analytics as a whole rather than just the Data Analyst title alone.
@@atyt22 man i'm niciating my journey as a DA, just learning the basics now, but, this kind of videos don't stop popping out in my feed and I a lil bit worried

@@emcat7377 , getting into a niche helps you stand out?
Almost all data analyst jobs require some form of specialization.
Good initial comment and good response actually…..rare on youtube these days lol
Quite True.
Very true. It's still the same.
field of analytics is very vast , it can be applied in any field

The skills aren’t really the same. EHR Analyst is more like a systems analyst vs a data analyst.
