    Welcome back to ProGuitarShop.com, you just heard the Viking Deluxe Baritone from Hagstrom. The Viking Baritone reserves its special place right in between a standard guitar scale and a bass with a 28" scale and a tuning down to B. The Viking Baritone sound is transferred via a set neck into a semi-hollow maple body which contributes to the warm tone and sustain of this extended range instrument. Other unique features on this Tobacco Burst model include Hagstrom's Custom 58 C humbucker and "P-Urified" neck pickup for tight low end and clarity, whether you want clean or dirty. Plus, the 12" radius, 22 fret Resinator board contributes attack and definition along with a comfortable playing area for guitarists of all kinds.

    So, some years ago I watched this video, and I was like "wow, this is my dream guitar!" So year ago I finally decided to order one, What can I say...I've got exactly what I expected, if not better. Now this is my absolutely favorite instrument, never will change it on something else. Thank you for elaborate and fair reviews, thank you, Andy, for beautiful playing.

      This guitar is said to have some quality issues, such as an unstable bridge. Can you confirm this?

    • @TybudX
      @TybudX Рік тому

      @@danielleinad6019 It does have problems typical of cheaper model guitars. I've had pretty much everything "upgraded" at one point or another aside from the pickups. I've had a graphtech bridge and nut in there for a few years now and that seems to have solved tuning issues I had.

      You dont know what I mean. People can be talented, and use it or not use it.. There are tons of talented people that never do us it for anything, for so many reasons..the ones that develop skills in a particular area are the ones that do something, no matter what field it is. Not just guitar. All the so called "talented" guitarists, say, Hendrix, Rory, Yngwie, etc.. etc.. practiced more than anyone to get there..and what does it have to do with me? Nothing.

    • @mac163
      @mac163 8 років тому +1

      To play an Instrument similar to the level of the Musicians you foremencioned you have to have both talent and skill in the degree that particular individual needs or can asimilate etc. you have to have both not just one.

    The longer scale also improves intonation and gives you more low-end frequencies. The same reason why basses are so long compared to normal guitars.

    • @SyncopatedFin
      @SyncopatedFin 10 років тому +1

      He would almost certainly be using a standard guitar amp, modern bass amps are voiced completely differently from guitar amps. If you're using a baritone guitar feel free to use any normal guitar amp, you just might want to slightly lower the bass and drop the gain (if you're using a distorted tone) to keep the guitar from sounding muddy.
