- These are the shots that match up exactly. When it looks like the angle or the crop is changing, that means either the actors have been moved in the scene or the frame has been cropped differently in editing.
For example, the shot of Dementus (Chris Hemsworth) on the conveyor belt at the Bullet Farm. The shot is drastically different, but his face matches, meaning the way he's placed in the frame was changed in post. It's not a different take or anything like that.
Made this video with the ProRes copy of both Trailer 1 and Trailer 2. They're the best copies of these trailers to be released so the colors are more accurate than UA-cam uploads and they're very high res (4096x1716). Unfortunately, UA-cam's compression is unreasonably harsh, even at 4K. Any compression artifacts you see are caused by UA-cam.

The biggest thing I noticed between trailers was the change in color grading, which I feel looks a lot more dulled and washed out in the second trailer. Don’t know why they did that, first trailer looked gorgeous and very in line with the Fury Road aesthetic.
Nah mate, im sick of oversaturated orange skin tones in every movie. It looks awful
@@seagull8415 obviously when it’s done poorly, like anything else, it’s bad. But when it’s done well you get gorgeous movies like mad max fury road.
How did you get high quality versions of the trailers?, more than YT offers i mean.
studios send out "ProRes" versions of trailers and sometimes they find their way onto the internet. It's not super common but the first 2 trailers for this movie showed up. I found them on Internet Archive. If you google Furiosa Trailer ProRes Internet Archive it'll probably be a result.
