- This is a production X-12 v.2 -- one of the first pair that we have built to ship out for a customer. They are available now (with build time, of course). RMS has increased to 1500-watts, the motor is bigger, we added a magnet ID shorting ring, distortion is reduced across the board, a higher temp coil is used, and it features a Mega-Roll v.2 surround.
this V.2 is definitely a beast!!!
Got one V2 12 last month now I'm getting my other this week! Throwing them on a FSD 5K

this amp at those ohms is like 2000 watts. my next build I want one of these in a 15 inch. amazon still selling v1. sundown audio keeps making sonic weapons!
I miss the V1s. 1250 RMS. Idk why they stop making them. When in fact they was the biggest sellers.

I'm trying to ascertain the difference between X and the Zv4 aside from the power handling figures of these two subwoofers.
-When it comes to the actual Bass sound or 'tone' what is the difference between these two series of SA Subwoofers?
-What does the X Series excel at that the Z does not and vice versa?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

The best explanation I've heard is that the X (v.1) kills lows but lacks in the higher ranges, where the Zv4 is a daily groundpounder, killing pretty much every note.

When will they make a surround that doesn't crease at maximum throw?
I've had two SA 12's for 6 yrs now and wanted to go big this year either a bandpass or add a 3rd sub then i found these,would two of these with proper power and box and tuning really smash the lows and blow away the SA 12's,because this is a lot of money for me,and I'm fixing to pull the trigger and buy two.anybody ????
is this sub 1500w rms? seriously contemplating buying this soon as i blew my last sub. my amp is a sundown 1500d, and if i wired this sub down to 1 ohm and connected it to my amp, would it be as powerful as what I'm seeing in this video? i can see you're amp is a lot bigger than mine but I'm guessing that's because its running on 2 ohms?

Yo Lo It would do fine but it would be way under powered the X12S V2S can handle a 3K RMS EASY iv seen it and it sounded amazing these subs aren't kno joke and for the price i found mine for $325 each but im pretty sure i got lucky i got 2 i want to get 1 or 2 more O man I'm rambling on my bad bro (✌🏼💪🏼🔈💪🏼🔉💪🏼🔊🇵🇷)
So on the SAZ3500D a 2 ohm load the amp gives 1750 watts rms.. so thats what you were running to the sub when maxed out right?? Thank you so much!!
I'm thinking about the 18" woofer but it says it has a 30% longer coil. So would that mean it needs 30 percent more power?? Thanks
With impedance rise that sub at 2ohm was probably getting well under 1750w, more like 13-1400w
what do you suggest for breaking in the sub?

Yeah. Should be fine on a 10 and 12 inch. Theres more force on a 18 inch:)
