The thing about racquet reviews is that each player's experience of a frame is as wide as our play styles. Using data like this, takes all of that away. Well done!

you are great ti watch. awesome tennis and good commentary. cheers!
by the way i switched to a 100in 300g racquet recently at 30 years old, and it was the best decision i ever made for my game!

Great video Surina! Happy to see a fellow Saffa doing such great racket testing content with data. I would love a similar video but with the E-Zone series ( mainly 98 & 100) or even the main 98 spin rackets I.e. Aero 98, Vcore 98, Ezone 98, Extreme Tour etc.
Keep up the great material - dis Lekker! 👍🏼 🇿🇦

Very good hitting, and very interesting data. Coming from a PS97, I would have anticipated you'd be more at home with the 95. Would you pick it over the 98 / 100, or do you prefer the slightly bigger headsize and ease of play?

Would you happen to have racquets in your shop to test against , that are a bit more obscure ? An example would be a 97 pro kennex black ace pro against a 97 pro staff v13 . Characteristicly similar racquets within the same size and player type categories . A volkl c10 evo vs another in it's class .

If you had to compete again using the v13 or vcore 98 would you sacrifice the precision and solidity of the pro staff over the added spin of the 98 vcore ? It does not matter what the size of the racquet , you have access to . What matters is what you are able to do with it when it comes.back at you at full speed . How this data correlates in conjunction with the head sizes , pros and cons , would be good to identify . Knowing and identifying the type of game that you are trying to play , is key and therefore the data should with explanation , these performance distinctions rather than bigger is better presumptions . There are still smaller head sized racquets on the tour beating 100 inch + racquet players out there , and because of the game style and precision with timing that others can not get with the larger racquets , which have become a crutch for power .

I watched this video for 95, which is heaviest of the Yonex bunch and tested as fourth. I assume that results may vary slightly if it was tested right after PS. The more head speed is probably a factor of it being more control oriented racquet, so you swing it without fearing sailing the ball. Of course, this testing lacks racquet's reaction on the defensive, at net, serving, blocking, slicing fields. Maybe I missed but in this video did you hit any backhand in that demo?

Are you using the same strings and string tension in all these racquets?? If not that is going to likely impact your ability to get an accurate comparison.

how does this compare to the Wilson Shift? You seemed like you really liked that, will you be switching?

Maybe next time you can compare others vs Pro Staff V 14..😊

For better feel results , please remove the vibration dampener. It is not clear if the data is skewed by its intergration . A 95 at 310 is more isolated weight vs the dispersed 97 , 98 and 100 .

I used the the dampener in all the rackets as that's for me personally a better way to feel it. Since it was used in all the rackets the data should not be affected because of that. This could be a topic for a video tho.. comparing playing with a damper and for without a damper! Thank you for your input!

I am considering to move from Prostaff 97 v13 to Yonex Vcore 95 (cause prostaff its a bit stiff), still not sure if will fit my game as I usually prefer 97-98 head size, however I love control frames. My forehand is with tons of spin , my backhand (one hander) is a bit more flat (not much) and I use my slice a lot. My serve tends to be flat or slice.
Do you think will be a good change? or I should go for prostaff 97 v14?

This frame is surely like a 97 I've played with a Vcore pro 97. Like that one I don't frame at all. When I used the previous 95 (2021 tango) I tend to frame, but with this one I don't.
