Love from a South African Liverpool fan🇿🇦❤🙌🏾
Nice to know our beloved LFC has some South African history attached to it. 👌💞
Yes I'm a proud South African. I support Liverpool. YNWA
Fun fact for the Gooners out there: The first recorded reference to a sports terrace as "Kop" related to Woolwich Arsenal's Manor Ground in 1904. A local newsman likened the silhouette of fans standing on a newly raised bank of earth to soldiers standing atop the hill at the Battle of Spion Kop.
Interesting. Thank You for that.
Cheers 💐💐💐
R. I. P Poor Scouse Tommy.
Very Cool!
Mahatma Gandhi was there too! He was a Warrant Officer in the Indian Ambulance Corps, taking on a non-combative Role.
Well, the battle it started next morning D# Under a Libyan Sun. G# C# I remember that poor scouser Tommy G# D# G# he was shot by an old nazi gun...sounds nothing like south Africa and 1900...
Spion Kop there, referred to the stand
Best not to remind everyone of the British Imperialism that caused the war. Thankfully the modern version of LFC is not so loyalist.
Because the Boers were totally indigenous to South Africa and never wanted to take other people's land did they? 😂
In South Africa the battle is refered to as the Battle of Isandlwana ... maybe the KOP will change soon ...Lol
You guys already want to change the names of ever single street and town and burn down statues in our beloved country now you want to change names in England to ? please bro don't piss me off
It’s a shame our atmosphere has become poor this season unless European nights …

@@rhn6525 he's obviously never been. From the build up beforehand, the match itself and then afterwards.....atmosphere is electric. Ynwa
Maybe the poster here is talking about the famous European anfield night atmospheres. But then Liverpool are renowned for their vociferous supporters and the Anfiled roar.I have even seen some opposition managers who commented on how it can be intimidating for opposition teams.Sometimes Klopp even admonish the supporters to turn it up a notch for some specific games.I remember the Liv ATM 2020 game.Although Liv were unlucky to have lost the game, the players were on fire all night, buoyed by the crows
Yeah love you liverpool fc straight outta south Africa.
