Glad you like them! Lol! I want you guys to have the same beautiful spread as you see in the video so it just makes it easier to get it that way ha!. I hope you enjoy it and have a wonderful holiday season and everything turns out delicious! 😋
WOW! As usual Beth doesn't disappoint with this week's Vlog - not only do these grazing boards look incredible and sooooo delish, but what really sets this content creator apart is her simple to follow pro tips that will elevate your skills to the next level! Definitely adding these to the entertaining menu! Thank you Beth and Merry Christmas to you and yours from Charleston SC.
LOL! No need you can head to my blog where I've typed it all up for you, including the color palettes and shopping list! :). Have Fun! Happiest of Holidays to you! entertainingwithbeth.com/grazing-boards/
so beautiful and love the color palette of both boards. The assembling in quarters is a good visual aid as well. TJ's makes entertaining really easy, esp with their large variety of snacks
Absolutely love this Beth!! You are so fabulous! I actually started a grazing table business but Covid hit us before we could get our feet off the ground properly unfortunately. But just a few tips from someone who has had a lot of practise (if you’re interested!). 1) we always made sure that we had straight lines at the edges of our board. so for example we would line up the side where the cheese is cut along the edge of the board - you have two so I would put them on opposite corners! Then we would line the crackers like dominoes around the diameter of the cheese (doesn’t have to go all the way around if you think it’ll go to waste). Finally we would make sure all our piles were packed close together to give the illusion of fullness! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us in 2024!!! 🩷🩷🩷
WWBD?? Hi Y’all!! It’s Christmas Eve and the big dinner tomorrow has suddenly shifted to my one bedroom apartment…..eeeeee. I’m hosting my Xhusband and his wife and family. ( please drink for me) The things you do for your only child. I’m not great in the kitchen so my go to’s are Beth’s recipes, her calmness in the videos and this Popeyes fully cooked Cajun style turkey. HA I’ve been asking myself WWBD- What Would Beth Do?? Wish me luck and Merry Merry to you all ❤
Good morning Beth! Love the style of your grazing boards especially using a neutral color palette, so pleasing to the eye! Thank you for all the beautiful content videos that you bring all year long! You’re a blessing to me! Enjoy your family time! May God bless each of you! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🎄🎊💕
Thank you so much for all the great entertaining tips and tasty recipes. Please do some valentine dinner ideas including table scape and sweet treats!!!
Thanks Beth- Now I know why my boards always look way too "busy", because I wasn't using a pattern to lay out the items, OR a color palate. Definitely the one time more isn't better. Your tips here were so valuable.
As a graphic designer, I can't appreciate enough your foolproof advice of staying within a color palette for a board! Every time I see blueberries on a snack/grazing board, it's such an eyesore because their colors don't go with anything else 😵💫 These boards look absolutely amazing!
Ha ha! Right?! I know it might be a little bit extra but we do eat first with our eyes and I find it just makes everything all the more pleasing when it looks pretty ha ha ha ha glad you agree! 👍
Beth--I made your apple cake w/orange zest over the the holidays and it was absolutely delicious! I added golden and regular raisins in addition to the apples and pecans. Best recipe ever- thank you so much for sharing it!
I made a grazing table for Christmas Eve about two years ago for my family, and they absolutely loved it. I made cornbread dressing cupcakes I use cupcake liners to hold the cornbread dressing and I put a dollop of cranberry salsa on top, and then middle of a large I made around of the cornbread dressing muffins, and then in the center I put, the chicken which was chopped, I had the whole table, filled with cheeses and meats and crackers and breads and desserts and it was a beautiful display and it was delicious, it took me about 3 1/2 hours to put it together, but I had cut up all the components to it and put them in the refrigerator and I’m bake the cornbread dressing muffins at the last minute and put them all The middle of the table beautiful round cutting board my husband made me. A grazing board can be a healthy choice for a family to enjoy, and I also made it unique by using different types of glassware to hold pickles, olives, pickled okra, and I even used a antique coffee grinder to hold some cheese that was dusted with coffee. I wanted to make it a unique experience for my family and they still talk about it at holiday times, watching entertaining with videos I get so many neat ideas to use and recipes and I usually please put my touch on her recipes, but I used the content of her recipe and then I might add a herb or spice it my family enjoys,
You are just such a sweet person. When ever I get compliments on my meal or what ever I have made I just say just call me Beth. I just made a beautiful quebecois meat pie but used your pastry recipe from your quiche recipe. I LOVE that pastry recipe. Thank you Beth. Merry Christmas Beth to you and your beautiful family. Cheers from Sudbury ON Canada
This couldn't have come at a better time because I've been planning to make a grazing board for Christmas. I absolutely loved your video, but I was hoping you could also include some dip recipes to complement the delicious spread. Keep up the amazing work, Beth! Can't wait to see what you have in store next. Merry Christmas to you and your family 😊
This looks so darned good Beth. I make lemon chicken a lot but not the whole chicken. I will be making this soon. Love the whole recipe. I adore shallots and we are never without them. Thanks for the great recipe!!!
Those are such pretty boards! It's just me for the holidays again, so I think I'll make a combination board for myself for NewYear's. Perhaps do a diagonal with savory on one side and sweet on the other. And a little champagne to go with it! 🥂🍾 Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Beth! 💚🕊️💚
Very nice Beth!!! I’ll have these boards saved for my next get together. Thank you for all your work. Merry Christmas to you and your family and friends. Ah!!! Say hello to dad please ❤
Beautiful boards! I’m going to try to replicate the sweet board with what I have on hand minus the beautiful oranges as the lines at the stores are crazy now! Merry Christmas Beth! I love Food Color Palettes!!!
Cant wait to make all soon for me for the savory board can i make it to vegetarian as am a vegetarian i never had glazing board before perfect for my after office meals and snacks
An added bit of information might be how you cut and serve the selection. Type and how many knives/forks/spoons/toothpicks to lay out. Do you start a slice of cheese to make it inviting, some people are shy to make the first slice. You may want utensils if there are drippy foods. Make sure to have a selection of napkins available for easy access or maybe little plates.
Yes, Yes and Yes! All good tips! When I'm back in France this summer it would be fun to have a video on "how to Cut" the various shapes of cheese (from round to square, triangular) there's all kinds of etiquette around that which could be fun to show! :)
okay beth, so, sorry to digress from the topic of this video but i just HAVE to tell you this. about a few weeks ago i found this recipe for chocolate crinkle cookies online, and i made them all by myself, they were the most divine, delectable, RICH, FUDGY, CHOCOLATY little morsels (i promised i’d go easy on consumption, HA, i love to fool myself) anyways, the recipe specifically said to chill the dough in the fridge “for at least three hours or overnight” and I SWEAR TO GOD, when i read the “overnight” bit, your voice appeared in my head saying “but really, you should do it the night before, in fact it’s even BETTER if you do it the night before!” holy cow, the fact that i have that memorized, i cannot even count how many videos you’ve said that in, but i guess it’s enough to where it’s engrained in my memory haha! and if you’re curious, i only left the dough to chill for four hours and it was super hard to scoop, so maybe three hours was the better call in that case ha!
As someone who grew up in Italy and now lives in the US, it's sad to see so many beautiful charcuterie boards go untouched. I think the average American didn't grow up eating many different types of cheese and/or dry meats so these charcuterie boards end up being mostly decorative.
Color palettes, links to the Trader Joes products, this woman is GOOD...wow. we see the effort and love you put into these videos. Thank you! ❤
Glad you like them! Lol! I want you guys to have the same beautiful spread as you see in the video so it just makes it easier to get it that way ha!. I hope you enjoy it and have a wonderful holiday season and everything turns out delicious! 😋

Miss Beth NEVER fails. I wish you could have seen me taking notes while watching this. 😂

I love all of these ideas! Thanks!
Thank you for a great idea. I’m going to be using this at my upcoming New Year’s Eve party.
Such great info!
Aldi and Trader Joe’s are my go-tos for cheese and stuff for grazing boards.
I'm dying to go to Aldi! There is one that just opened near me and I have got to get over there to check it out! :) Thanks for the reminder!!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!🎄
Looks great. Have a wonderful Christmas.

Amazing, Merry Christmas to you and your family 🙏🏻💞🎄
Beautiful boards! I’m going to try to replicate the sweet board with what I have on hand minus the beautiful oranges as the lines at the stores are crazy now! Merry Christmas Beth! I love Food Color Palettes!!!
Have you tried the chocolate covered crepes .. those would be delish! This was great and you make it easy to understand not be so overwhelming
Cant wait to make all soon for me for the savory board can i make it to vegetarian as am a vegetarian i never had glazing board before perfect for my after office meals and snacks
These are lovely. One question - where do the cheese knives go to cut off pieces of the cheeses? Merry Christmas!
An added bit of information might be how you cut and serve the selection. Type and how many knives/forks/spoons/toothpicks to lay out. Do you start a slice of cheese to make it inviting, some people are shy to make the first slice. You may want utensils if there are drippy foods. I was going to say the specifics of how to cut the specific cheeses... one can make a faux pas
@@KH-nn6kh
Eh, what's a faux pas among friends? 😉 I agree with you both, that that could very well be a great video!
okay beth, so, sorry to digress from the topic of this video but i just HAVE to tell you this.

❤❤❤
Question: How do you provide utensils so guests can cut off a piece of cheese without wrecking the savory board?
How long can the food be left on the board, uncovered, without being contaminated?
Great question! I would only leave it out for 2 hours tops :) Hope you enjoy!
nice. watched many how to do and there is never mention of serving knives or forks or toothpicks or little plates to put on.
As someone who grew up in Italy and now lives in the US, it's sad to see so many beautiful charcuterie boards go untouched. I think the average American didn't grow up eating many different types of cheese and/or dry meats so these charcuterie boards end up being mostly decorative.
Hmmm, maybe I grew up differently, but we had a lot of meat and cheese boards when I was growing up and all of my life and I'm in my 60s!
Love Beth to bits but this is really over thinking it.
