HDMI7 with touch installed, working, none of the keyboards worked, matchbox is tiny, florance doesn't exist and onboard disappears when you try to enter keys I would guess on a computer monitor they all work, right?
Enable SSH in the advanced options with RPI Imager, or follow these instructions: raspberrytips.com/pi-zero-setup-without-keyboard/. Then use SSH to install the virtual keyboard.
i installed the onboard on my raspberry pi 3 model a+. At first it worked fine and now it wont even start up after me trying setup the autostart function... any ideas? thanks in advanced
See my problem is my pi doesn't have an IP address because it's not connected to the Internet and I cant connect it to the Internet until I put in the WiFi password and I can't do that without a keyboard. 🤦🏾♀️
Onboard works ok for me but when I set it up to auto show, it just disappears and I can't open the menu or anything. The other thing is it looks like it has a right click feature but I can't figure it out. Isn't there some way to hold down to do a right click?
Matchbox has no DEL key, might be useless. If minimized it is gone, you have to resize it every time because it starts tiny on my 1024x800 Raspi touchscreen. If you have a touchscreen you are screwed with this software unless you have a mouse! But than there is no point buying a touch... if you need a mouse! Matchbox is as useful for me as the Internet explorer. I need it to install Firefox. Matchbox to install onboard... If it's free it doesn't have to be bad, this was the case in the past, free software doesn't have the best reputation. Free Software is great this is a real revolution, hope FreeCAD gets it's shit strait!

I wrote the latest Raspberry Pi OS on my SD Card and was unable to enter the desktop of the system without filling user name, because i didn`t have a physical keyboard, just a mouse. Imagine you can`t start the whole system just because you cant enter one or two symbols. Tried to find virtual keyboard but without success.
Using a Raspberry Pi shouldn’t be complicated.

try connecting with a vnc server, the issue Is most lightly your resolution is too low

I have the same issue of it not showing up when I turned on auto-show, Ive rebooted and deleted and reinstalled and nothings working
