Time to get ready for Easter Jeep Safari 2022! I have been putting off some exterior upgrades because I was focused on the JK axle swap and the LS swap the past couple years... It was finally time to throw some good looking front and rear bumpers and a new soft top on the LJ! It also needed new front springs and new bump stops. The LJ is ready for a week of wheeling now. I am excited to get out west again and meet a ton of people at EJS!

I run a bestop trektop on my LJ. Buy it from 4wheelparts and add the warranty anything happens to it and you can get it replaced and just rebuy the warranty for the next time(warranty is 10% of price)

I have a 2004 TJ 2.4l I’m looking to do a LS swap on. Do you have a build sheet on everything needed? What was the ball park cost to complete?

Agreed! It looks ways better!😆The 5.3 LS is about the same as the 4.0, so the swap didn’t impact my spring choice.

You need an ORO SwayLOC system for the sway bar. Make your life easier.
So what was up with the locker and shift linkage?
I’m hangin in on the locker issue too. My front JK Dana 44 seems to be doing the same thing. Switch is active, mag is clicking in but no lock.
Patiently waiting the outcome of their diagnosis.
You really need to upgrade or reinforce the roll cage. Scary to see OEM stock for what you may eventually do with this rig.

How much weight did the LS add over the 4.0L? My TJ is. 2.5L and I am going to do the LS swap. Not sure if the stock/light load OME springs will be good or not.

The 5.3 is about the same, maybe a little lighter than the 4.0.

You sure those "DiY fenders" aren't the AEV highline kit. It isn't made anymore and it has some value.

I’m going for a 500 wheel hp Bronco with the 2.7L. I’m upgrading the turbos. Super risky but I figure ‘what the hell?’
My F 150 is running a 2.7l , didn`t know 500hp was possible. The CGI block with fractured mains is certainly strong.
@@REDMAN298 yes sir! Look up 5 Star tuning, they added CR Performance turbos, CAI intercooler and tune and got 500 wheel hp on the 2.7L F150

I’ll be making one by end of summer. The jeep has mainly seen garage time the past year, I didn’t want to give an incomplete review on a tire I had not used and tested on the street, and Both east coast/west coast style wheeling

Is your track bar torqued to spec? I had death wobble after lifting, it was due to simply a loose track bar
@@AustinH7 I've taken it to the shop a s they said yes however I have not try to torque it myself.
It needs rear flares. It's so naked.
I like it with no flares, but I’ll probably add some in the future
Why is your lift at an angel?
It opens up the shop more. Can fit 2 jeeps in there and still have room on the other side of the loft

I’m probably going to cop a little flack for saying this but I wish Cassie would slow down and take a breath once in a while. For those of us that are not the full book of knowledge on Jeeps it is very difficult to follow what she is explaining. I’m still learning and this channel offers a lot of useful info but sometimes I have to watch it a couple of times or is this just a ploy to get the views up on the channel? 🤣

Neither state requires inspections anyway, we will switch eventually
