Code 4 is the best 3.5" edc you dont have to worry about beating them up. Lynn Thompson era Cold Steel is priceless now as Cold Steel is putting out garbage with bad heat treats. I'm a fan of Cold Steel and have quite a lot of them however .... I like a lot of brands, so I don't get the brand-cult mentality. I love my Vision FG and my Vosteed Thunderbird. There are so many great brands and so much knife innovation happening right now. It would be crazy to lock myself into a single one. Having said all of that, this knife looks pretty great. I'm glad to see Cold Steel stepping out of the giant and overbuilt niche into a more sleek and lightweight design. Thanks for sharing!
SOG and Cold Steel make me feel the same. I'm not a fan except for a few models. It"s is good to see something different from them. I think more milling should be done and T8s only and they know it but didn't do it. This is a great start for them being a little more normal. I am not bashing them and I am glad to see this knife but at $200 better options are available. You can get a $35 knife that centers Demko springs work with it?
@@jameshitch5041 I’m not sure if the Demko replacement spring will fit because I got rid all all my ad20.5 stuff a while back but from what I remember the spring definitely feels the same. And with an educated guess biased in the fact that cold steel probably won’t invest in other spring sizes makes me pretty confident that it’s probably the same spring🤣
I’ve never reviewed a bad cold steel … experience changed my mind about them they make knives of all types also I’ve never experienced bad fit and finish from them I only own 2 both are good 🤷♂️ I’d take cold steel over a benchmade 🤭
I have a 3" Engage by CS, and I don't know what was the point of crapping on Cold Steel all the way through the review. Seems like they make some good stuff along side some more extreme stuff, and their prices are not crazy.
Who is regularly doing titanium and s35vn for $100 now? I see a lot of g10 and crappy soft, poorly heat treated Chinese m390 that is worse than well heat treated 154cm. Not even trying to say you're wrong, I truly want to know who is doing Ti scales and s35vn for $100. I can't find that from WE, Reate, Rike, Civivi, Bestech, Ketuo, or any other Chinese OEM off the top of my head. Nitro-V and g10 for $100? Sure. Titanium and s35VN, please point me the way my friend!
@@Matthew-wn8oqpost a link or shut the hell up. $100 for titanium and s35vn is very rare and is far from the normal, must be a clearance sale or something

Sorry but can’t beat the lawman in S35vn for 100 bucks!!! Best toughest knife even for a folder.

Yes I picked up a CS lawman for $75. S35VN and great G10. Better buy. If this one was $100 I’d buy one but for $200 no thanks

I was going to comment...this looks like a Chinese knife.
Sad when what the videographer likes from Cold Steel is a typical looking Chinese knife.

Cold Steel.,fix what my man speaks of and I will buy at least one.,as is most likely not.
S35vn and titanium knives are down to $100 now and probably average around $120 so $200 is expensive as hell for what it is.
