The content I make is of whatever free time I have in my busy life. Fueled by passion for the knife hobby I aspire to one day colab and create my own knives when the time is right. I love the UA-cam community and I love this ever growing knife edc family.

Good review….you just saved me a lot of money. Thanks!
Cold Steel.,fix what my man speaks of and I will buy at least one.,as is most likely not.
I really like what you did with that civiivi
I was going to comment...this looks like a Chinese knife. Sad when what the videographer likes from Cold Steel is a typical looking Chinese knife.
Great vid, thanks for sharing 🤙🏽
This is going to be my next knife. I want the blacked out one though.
@@NMiller_ if you like how it looks and don’t mind the price you will absolutely love it🤩
Nice looking knife for sure!
Found a fixed blade for 5$ during Christmas last year Perfect throwing knife, solid 100+ throws before i broke it with distance
@@ricolmao6969 just picked up 2 of the ozark-outs😂
I have a 3" Engage by CS, and I don't know what was the point of crapping on Cold Steel all the way through the review. Seems like they make some good stuff along side some more extreme stuff, and their prices are not crazy.
Sweet ❤
I’ve never reviewed a bad cold steel … experience changed my mind about them they make knives of all types also I’ve never experienced bad fit and finish from them I only own 2 both are good 🤷♂️ I’d take cold steel over a benchmade 🤭
@@Headhighinc I’d take anything over benchmade. That brand holds little to no weight on this channel.
Great in-depth review. Thanks for telling us all about it. 👍
Visually it’s almost identical to the Benchmade Bugout and to the hogue mysto. The standard bugout has s30v and plastic scales and it’s a bit cheaper, but if you count that here you have titanium scales, it’s same price. The mysto has titanium scales but has a way superior steel and it costs 100 more.. so in my opinion it’s priced reasonably, maybe a little high considering the brand value perception that cold steel has, but reasonable
I myself is shying away from the brand ,in the past that is a whole different story.
I've never been a fan of Cold Steel. This is a nice knife. It's very pricey, though. I'll pass.
I don’t know… everything I purchased since they were bought out by GSM has been absolute garbage. all the edges have been ground uneven. daggers are lucky to even have a tip. you may have got a good one, but I’ll be putting my money up somewhere else.
@@sofakingphat8087 daggers are lucky to have a tip😂😂😂
S35vn and titanium knives are down to $100 now and probably average around $120 so $200 is expensive as hell for what it is.
Who is regularly doing titanium and s35vn for $100 now? I see a lot of g10 and crappy soft, poorly heat treated Chinese m390 that is worse than well heat treated 154cm. Not even trying to say you're wrong, I truly want to know who is doing Ti scales and s35vn for $100. I can't find that from WE, Reate, Rike, Civivi, Bestech, Ketuo, or any other Chinese OEM off the top of my head. Nitro-V and g10 for $100? Sure. Titanium and s35VN, please point me the way my friend!
@@Silence-and-Violence they are a dime a dozen
@@Matthew-wn8oqpost a link or shut the hell up. $100 for titanium and s35vn is very rare and is far from the normal, must be a clearance sale or something
@@Matthew-wn8oq could you name me three models that are regular priced at $100 that I can get right now at any of the major online distributors? Random $150+ models that are on clearance sales don't count. Can you point me towards three models that are regularly, routinely priced at $100 at release with s35vn and titanium handles? Because honestly man, I'm looking right now and I can't find it. I can find a bunch from Kizer and Kansept that are $140-170. And I can find random, discontinued models that are on clearance sales for $100 now but they were $160ish when they came out. So please man, just tell me a few that prove your point. Help anyone else that is reading this and wondering where they can find what you're talking about.
@@Matthew-wn8oq Name one
Just did my first upgrade. 200 on scales for my Manix 2 😅 hard to explain
Sorry but can’t beat the lawman in S35vn for 100 bucks!!! Best toughest knife even for a folder.
@@joney703 I want one
Yes I picked up a CS lawman for $75. S35VN and great G10. Better buy. If this one was $100 I’d buy one but for $200 no thanks
Dont forget dlc coated.
I've been enjoying this knife myself. Pretty surprising design coming from Cold Steel, so I'm kinda shocked a lot of the knife YTers just kind of ignored it. My only issues with the knife really have been that there is no jimping, and the pocket clip kinda sucks and I expect it to snap at some point. Hoping LynchNW or someone makes a Ti clip for this one. If anyone is thinking of buying this knife, it only seems to come from Cold Steel's website still, but there is almost always a 30% coupon floating around for their site. Make sure to google the latest coupon, I got my blacked-out version for about $160 instead of $230.
Ticixity is what simps call manly. Stop being so scared
@@mistersmith3986 so being manly means treating people like they are less than because of what they carry? Got it, so when I eat sushi at a high end establishment instead of a bowl or rusty nails for dinner and wash it down with a can of baked beans I’m less than a man😂. I pay my bills, provide, protect, and all the while not being a turd to people, I’d call that a successful life of manliness. I shoot guns, clap thick cheeks, and can drink like no ones business. That’s kinda manly😂 fear is not a factor of mine but I’m a good person who will shed some light on the bad habits of individuals in this community when it comes to having an open mind and being welcoming. If you’re offend by being called toxic then maybe you need to man up. Because real men don’t get hurt❤️
Good post 👍. Still use the we subjugator delete I got from you, it's a great user
SOG and Cold Steel make me feel the same. I'm not a fan except for a few models. It"s is good to see something different from them. I think more milling should be done and T8s only and they know it but didn't do it. This is a great start for them being a little more normal. I am not bashing them and I am glad to see this knife but at $200 better options are available. You can get a $35 knife that centers Demko springs work with it?
@@jameshitch5041 I’m not sure if the Demko replacement spring will fit because I got rid all all my ad20.5 stuff a while back but from what I remember the spring definitely feels the same. And with an educated guess biased in the fact that cold steel probably won’t invest in other spring sizes makes me pretty confident that it’s probably the same spring🤣
I'm a fan of Cold Steel and have quite a lot of them however .... I like a lot of brands, so I don't get the brand-cult mentality. I love my Vision FG and my Vosteed Thunderbird. There are so many great brands and so much knife innovation happening right now. It would be crazy to lock myself into a single one. Having said all of that, this knife looks pretty great. I'm glad to see Cold Steel stepping out of the giant and overbuilt niche into a more sleek and lightweight design. Thanks for sharing!
Samething for me. I own many brands.I love my 4 Max but I love many more from WE, Civivi, Vosteed, Kansept, Artisan Cutlery etc etc.
Nice blade, kinda pricey❤

There are multiple reasons made in America has substantial value. Overall this is one hell of a knife! Nice review 😊

OMG! Where can I buy one of those screwdrivers?
@@machfiver753 www.dlttrading.com/combat-beads-v3-precision-driver-white-g-10
Interesting. Some cool details but I'm good for cleaver-y knives at the moment. Beautiful knife though.
My grail and most expensive knife is the spydiechef and will probably remain my most expensive knife. 400 something bucks canadian. (Loved it so much I bought 2.)
I saw another video, the guy hade to swap out the screws depending on the knife
He got ripped off, wish has them for 20.
Benchmades knives are expensive for what you get! The Benchmade Narrows cost 500 $. The G and G Hawk Deadlock is 3,000.00$ It’s an out the front with no blade play so they over charge for the knife. Shirogorov seriously over charges for their knives. Compared to other production knife companies CRK’s is more than reasonable
The Chris Reeve Sebenza is “expensive “ but you did not point out a single flaw in the knife that proves it’s over priced. It is a quality knife that is produced in the United States. It cost more to manufacture knives in the USA. Koenig, Shirogorov, and Chris Reeve Knives are pricey knives. Chris Reeve Knives set a quality knife standard and they are worth the price in my option.
I personally own a few grails. Would I carry any of them? Absolutely not. Do I regret buying them? Nah. If it's something you feel important to you, it's not a waste. You do you.
Why buy to not use?
I had one like 10 years ago and sold it within 3 months. It's just meh for the price imo. Being primarily a balisong collector, I'm used to overpaying for knives too.
Price gouging of course. Always wanted one. But wayyyyy out of my income bracket.
When that Vision has a better system better looks and 1/5th the price tag. I can never justify it. A knife the price of a Glock with some upgrades
Sebenza 31 Drop Point S45VN, no regrets at all. The knife is beautifully made, action is glassy smooth, and the sounds are like nothing else. I have other knives and I don't always carry my Sebenza, but when I do it absolutely holds it's own. I love wood scales and this knife will never leave my collection. I know some don't like the thumb studs but they never bothered me. It's not for everyone, but it works for me.
My experience with reprofiling A CRK magnacut was that it was very hard to do. In part maybe HRC but also because the hollow grind was not very deep. The BTE thickness made the reprofiling tougher.
The whole point of luxury is having more than you need. I love my large Sebenza. It's just one of my many zero regrets purchases.
when a dude pulls out this knife he's telling the world this is what happens if ur age sez ur a man but never touched a boob.. shame on the people whose spending made such a thing called a grail knife.. when u spend half a rack ona pocket knife you really have no need to own any knife.. a plastic knife will get u thru life if u carry this.. the exact polar opposite of a man who makes a living wearing a knife.. a living cartoon of what u think a man is.. in a world 5times removed from anywhere that's sorta man would be.. im not mocking you're manhood you walk ur own path just know there's no bridged link thru a over priced gas station knife.. if i pulled out a dagger with a diamond blade sharpened on a wet stone soaked in angel tears id expect to be mocked and told sissys wear neck knifes imagine instead saying i use it daily to open Amazon boxes... this is where we have ended up... here to the bayonet that will be smelted outta soild gold unicorn shit.. the gun its fixed to will shoot actual bitcoins.. the forging of each will kill a million thru power outages the process will cause and that gun will spit them in only 3round bursts cuz 2 seconds full auto will be what finally bankrupted merica.. i cant wait for the future

@@ccarlock8537 can’t afford that🤣
Oh hey, I've got an XTOUC here somewhere. It's actually a premium one in Ti and M390 (ostensibly - not sure if one of the steel testing people have gotten their hands on one). Super smooth, great mechanics, regardless of that.
Was it difficult to put on the OG scales?
@@Damen0530 oh not at all is really easy working with OG products they are really just built different in the best of ways.
