Erica san in China their dumpings, mostly boiled. There are tons of specialized in dumplings very small restaurants in every region. You can choose variety of ingredients when you order, both vegetables and meats. Of course only veggy no problem. Quite natural and so tasty. Why don't you try to make by yourself? Very similar with making pasta or udon.
