For the Act 3 Mirror Of Loss You can cast Remove Curse to remove the - 2 in the other stats while you keep the charisma increase indefinitely. Gale would be the best character for the build but his buff that he gets in Act 2 for advantage with concentration throws disappears on long rest and respec which might be a bug. Chain Lightning is a learnable spell through scrolls which we add to the kit when we get 6th level spells at level 11
One thing you can do with the wizard dip is to equip the Warped Headband of Intellect from ACT I, which sets your INT to 17, allowing you to prepare 3 additional wizard spells. You can then unequip the headband and keep the spells prepared until you rest. It's kind of an exploit, but it's fun because it allows this build to be a nuker and also a swiss army knife.
Nice build. Would've loved to see that raphael fight without items. It seemed to me the chain lightning from gear did most of the heavy lifting than call lightning. I did like no illithid powers though.
wassup man! We get chain lightning as a spell when we learn it through the scroll. With arcane battery from Mark staff would be able to cast chain lightning twice without having to dip into the the cast from the staff itself. Chain lightning would have been good in the notable wizard spell section lmao. I also have a call lightning warlock thrower I'll be putting up soon that you might like. I've had some of this footage since the 12th for this build just chillin. Gloomhaven come out yet? You doing some other more BG3 builds?
@@dakquan yeah i just meant i was expecting to see call lightning pawn raphael and was slightly disappointed to see chain lightning. yeah gloomhaven's out but been kinda busy with BG3 so havent picked it up yet. i have 14 builds up now on red-dit's bg3 builds. lol. warlock thrower sounds very interesting. currently about to start my 5th run now (finishing up 4th) and taking a couple of builds through solo tactician (i never take 1 build only. usually 2-3 as i'd get bored. so it's my way of testing out different builds in different acts and being best friends with Withers. lol). the current builds i'm taking for a spin are a storm sorc retaliation AOA build and the volley/hordebreaker hunter (divine archer concept). i may bring a 3rd build. i'm currently workshopping a "psionic" mind controlling bard buit around dissonant whispers, command and i'm still deciding on bane/slow/spirit guardians.

I've been chilling out on releasing more "basic" set ups like magic missile and eldritch blast. Probably should have done optimized versions first few weeks of game release if I was. When you're that creative definitely end up swapping builds a bit in a run lol. The storm sorc retaliation sounds dope. I was looking into the force conduit chest piece and thinking about comboing it with some paladin and wizard to take no to low damage from spells while maintaining low damage from physical hits. I was messing with a Titanstring bow archer set up that is pretty good as well due to the strength modifier scaling applying to multiple damage instances

Yeah and the one i came up with is at least simple enough for beginners (not heavily multiclassed/complicated synergies). I get feedback that my builds are "too creative". LOL. force conduit is definitely great for AOA retaliation builds. I like the titan bow (there are alot of good bows though) but you know me, i dont like building around items. I'd rather have the build based on class/spells then the items are added on top to improve the build.

Get to see the quality work in it's original place. That's when you know the builds are good when someone says that they are too creative lmao. Creating 14 non item centric builds is fantastic! I remember seeing someone mention that pretty much anything can solo bosses with the items in Act 3 which I agree with. Very easy to throw out "get these and you can beat tactician at level 10" builds that don't feel good to play up to then
The Mark staff gives a free cast of chain lightning in the staff itself.it is bugged and makes it work every turn rather than just once per short rest. But I only use that once in the video. The staff also has something called arcane battery which gives you a free cast of a spell and there is another staff you can use that has arcane battery. So what I do is cast myrmidon with the other staff and unequip it. This leaves us with arcane battery, 1 lvl 6 slot, and the free cast from the lightning staff.
5 tempest early gets call lighting faster and when a level of sorc comes into the mix early you have a strong single target and aoe good ac unit very early. we end up 2 cleric 2 wizard 8 sorc or 2 cleric 1 wizard 1 fighter 8 sorc. First option will give us divination dice to make our big hits more consistent while the later is good for getting us to 25 ac where enemies late game typically max out at 29. With shield spell on we are at 30 so we aren't getting hit a majority of the time. We also get the constitution from fighter.
I'm assuming the +2 from the Mirror of Loss or the additional 2 from hag's hair or patriar's memory is registering after the 22 from birthright. I couldn't get up to 26 with the duke's sword last time I tried
all good! can always just level as a sorc all the way through and go through with the other info in the cheat sheet portion of the video. It's just going to feel slightly worse while playing.

How can you be using both conjure elemental and be able to cast multiple chain lightning? Wizard gives you 1 spell slot so it either of those two?

How are you getting +2 from birthright to get your charisma upto 24 when the tooltip of Birthright says up to 22
