  • Follow us as we show you behind the scenes of our Stage 1 tune for the Porsche 718 4.0l GTS Variant.
Our Porsche Cayman and Boxster GTS tuning is developed in-house and can be seen being carried out for one of our clients.
In this video, our client specifically asked for our 718 GTS Stage 1 remap with the following additional options.
Additional GT4 crackles, exhaust flaps fully open when the button is on, 98Ron specific tuning for optimal power and torque figures.
This engine remap is compatible with both GTS and GT4 718 models, meaning the end result will be the same regardless of model.

So you flashed the ECU. You advanced timing. From that you got modest gains in the upper rpm range.
Whats happened to lower to midrange trq?

Love this information as I currently own a 981 Boxster S and this GTS4.0 is my next car.
Wanted a Cayman a few years ago but the Boxster was introduced a year earlier and a 2013 fell comfortably within my budget three years ago. Love my Boxster and so glad I got it instead of the Cayman.top down motoring is far more exhilarating at the same speeds and here in the States it’s not quite as strict but you can still get in trouble quickly in this car.
I would be curious to see how much is gained with street headers but 440 crank hp as is, is realistically way more than I’d need hahaha.

Nice video and gains. According to your graph max RPM is unchanged? How much is fuel consumption affected?

DId you manage to get the 200 revs missing? GT4 revs to 8000, GTS to 7800 only... is there a way to get those revs?

Did you remove the rev limiter at 7800 rpm to get to the power gain and if so, where is the new rev limiter now?

      No answer?

Ofc the limiter is removed its obvious , since the power of N/A engines come from their ability to rev higher . For example APR tune for 45+ hp power gain they stat that the limiter for 4.0 models is increased up to 8.3k rpm . For this tune you can safely bet that limiter is raised at least (+300 rpm) and max (+500) rpm

we do indeed lift the limiter and adjust the over rev counter :)

@@genomedesignporscheI’ve seen the 2.5l dyno 359whp before on some UA-cam clip. Which is very interesting. I’ve got the gts 2.5 and it moves very well for “365” hp. It feels a lot closer to the 400 mark than what Porsche advertises. Can you confirm the same results with the 2.5?
