  • Kensington's drug addict will do anything to get that needle. I decided to interview a drug addict on the mean streets of Kensington in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The drug addict said before he used to be homeless in Kensington. Make sure to Like, Comment, Share, and Subscribe.

    Addiction is a rabbit hole, there is no bottom. Some will suffer untill they have had enough. Most suffer untill they die. Such a young man, rooting for him.

    This is so sad that he has been to rehab 30 times, and cant abstain from drugs for more than six months. I pray he gets the help that he needs, and turns his life around.

      @joecarey4356 Congratulations, that is great that you have been clean for 5 years. Life is what u make of it. Everybody moves differently. People can either get stuck or do something about it.

    Rehab will never work, if you go back to the same area after, that you was in before. You are young enough to find something. Go to rehab as long as you can, and as soon as you are out, go do something totally different. Maybe go join a mission (or charity work) and go abroad to help people. You dont have to neccesarily be religious. Dont think about becoming wealthy, just get yourself straight, and out of your normal loop for a couple of years.

    I mean it's largely understood that illegal drugs are highly( no pun intended), addictive, and will totally ruin your life, so why these people think they're smarter than the dragon....totally amazes me

      I never understood why someone would pick up a drug. But for those who do it is either stop or dying from addiction. Hopefully everyone who does drugs can stop and become a better person.

      @@ready_to_destinationare you able to understand how someone could make a bad or negative decision? Then you are able to understand how somebody could pick up a drug. People make bad choices and choices have consequences. Smoke and vape your whole life you may get lung cancer but we don’t shame them for making that choice, eat unhealthy foods you may become obese or get diabetes or heart disease. We also choose what we eat and put in our bodies. Bad choices can lead to bad consequences. Whatever your bad choices in life may be, I pray that people seek to understand rather than shame.

    • @ready_to_destination
      @ready_to_destination  7 днів тому +6

      Unfortunately, he can't do it himself and that is ok. Some people need resources to help get them over the addiction. I know the person ultimately makes the decision to stop. In his case I know with the proper resources I know he will be able to conquer the drug use.

      I grew up in a big home to. Problem is the owner of the house wasn’t my father and not married to my mother. Living with him was terrible, and I couldn’t relate to the kids I was growing up around who had both parents and stability.
