If I could only one band to see, that I never have nor ever will, it is this one. Funny to think that I lived in Wiltshire, not even an hour from where they grew up and played, and never knew......one of lifes great regrets.
saw these guys play down in Basildon one time at the juke joint they Blew my mind. then there fairwell tour at the mean fiddler in London, but all of a sudden they were back then they dispersed again then back again. if only there PR was as good as the band!
Hahahaha That was back then, the Davey/SRV thing.... (Everybody wears their influences on their sleeve at some point. Particularly early on.) Suffice to say he looks more like Russell Brand now, more than anything. :p But the most important thing is that he rips it like a demon.
Jesse is dressing like SRV because he's poking fun at himself for being so heavily SRV Influenced....why are some people so thick and ignorant.... Awesome band that are up there with Stevie, robben Ford, Robert cray and the rest :)
Great band. Jessy is an amazing player, but he's way too obsessed with SRV. Dresses like him, immitates his movements, only uses that sound,... to this very day.
Scaramouche!! saw these guys at the ardhowen theatre's gallery bar Enniskillen N Ireland earlier in 95. Place was full with less than 100 people there. \bought their CD. The band were fantastic and it was great to see them on Jools . Didn't realise they were still playing.
What a great band - I remember seeing this on Jools' show all those years ago and must have seen them live in Devizes 20 times since then. Whatever happened to Dave Raeburn? - he used to drum for several bands back then, then he was gone and Mark Barrett took over.

I've seen them live a number of times. They play LOUD! Not going may have avoided potential hearing damage....

And now Jesse make legendary guitar pedals for us to enjoy. Brilliant tones.
I loved watching the Hoax live :)
Jesus. Forget about what they're wearing. Who cares? Listen to them play!

Amazing! Blues at it's best! Great job
Davey is an incredible player but what is the point of copying SRV's image?
"Hope you're amuuuuuuuuuuuuuused". Cool lyrics
