I am a professional violinist but 10 million is simply too much.
Heifetz when he was about 70 years he sold his Strad to a Japanese man for 1 million in the condition that whenever Heifetz wants to he could use it.
That time 1 million was unheared of.
The Japanese man was very wise seeing the future.
I'm looking for a buyer for my mom's Guarneri del Gesu (one of 150 violins remaining from the 250 he made in 18th century). My mom left this beautiful piece of art behind in her estate.

Thin fingerboard. Apparently a new fingerboard with more height increases volume.
I hate violins cuz they're overpriced. I'm only playing the carbon fiber ones cuz you can drop it or leave it in your car. I hate how you have to baby these wood violins.
