Ah brilliant! And yes couldn’t agree more, weight training is definitely a massive factor for me, I will certainly be doing a video on that in the future.
Hi Tom. Thank you for very informative videos. A firend of a friend has MS, so this was very good. - Some years back I suffered from CFS/ME, but I managed to fight that and come back strong and healthy.
My neurologists recommended i take moringa capsules because he said it inhibits chronic inflammation. I was surprised medical doctors never recommend natural supplements
Yes unfortunately medical professionals are quite literally trained just to designate the right pharmaceutical for whatever disease or problem you have... They know little to nothing about natural remedies. That's why I listen to a lot of Holistic doctors online as I find their approach much more valuable!
Chronic inflamation is caused by too much omega 6 in the blood and body. There is a very easy dry bloodspot test that will show the balance between omega3 and omega 6 in the body. This balance should be lower than 3:1. My first test was 9,6:1 even though I took a recomended omega 3 suplement. After 4 months on another and more powerful omega3, my balance was 2,7:1. - My body is back in top shape and I am NOT young any more...
You must boost glutathione and support your mitochondria. Best supplements: Acetyl l-Carnitine, NAC(n-acetyl cysteine), CoQ10(Ubiquinol), Inositol(Myo), 10000d3k2-mk7 and at least 3grams omega3(high DHA).
Have you tried Coimbra protocol? It’s basically much higher vitamin D3 doses. I’ve been trying 20-40 thousand IU of D3+K2 and magnesium, omega3, B complex, choline. I had a very bad relapse in June and now after 1,5 months of Coimbra protocol I feel amazing, I did blood test, my Vitamin D is 81 now and calcium is in norm. So I will stick to it from now on.
Not sure if I made this suggestion on one of your other vids but alpha lipoic acid is also a good one :) ( paper from 2017 called "Lipoic acid in secondary progressive MS" showed a 70% reduction in brain atrophy)
Ah that's a great idea! I was taking that for a while, but stopped so I think I will start again! For reference though I try to eat a lot of flaxseed which contains alpha Lipoic acid
@@tomgarbett77 ahh good stuff - probably taking it in natural form would be just as good :) I also don't take the full 1200 mg they used in the study but only take 600 mg or so a day to supplement and make sure it is sustainable long term!

Hi Tom, I'm in Liverpool so only down the road from you! I'm taking everything you said apart from probiotics; I will look into that one. I'm also taking a supplement called Lion's Mane. Have you done any research on it?
I have Medicare, because I’m on SSDI for my MS. It covers 80%, but the pharmaceutical company that makes Ocrevus covers the rest through their patient assistant program.
Thanks for your reminder about DHA & EPA for myelin sheath. Much appreciated. I'd been taking 1k mg of each before starting high dose thiamine. If the thiamine continues to show good gains, I'll stack with fish oil to see if any notable advantage ... Maybe a 3-6 mth trial?. Please keep up the videos if you can, they're really helpful. All the best.
Hey Jenny, no worries but yes definitely worth looking out for the DHA & EPA levels cause they can be deceptively low in some. But thanks I have been looking into thiamine thanks to your suggestion and think I will try some soon. Thanks for the kind words I will keep them coming!
