I'm so happy to have come across this review! A friend on mine ordered a dress for her daughter's wedding and has to have all of these alterations done. I really liked the dress in another color and contacted the company for additional sizing information as there is a no return policy. They returned my message after two days and were very vague and told me to look at the size chart! Their items are made in China and I went on amazon and fount the exact SAME dress with the SAME model in their pictures and it was less than 1/2 price!
The "Mommy please hold me" at the end got me 😭❣️

Let's count points against them- 1: Online retailer w/out returns 2- Never got back to you (warning for customer service) 3-low quality sewing .4- focus is on heavy advertising, but not service.... I wouldn't be surprise if it was an outlet for QA rejects from a foreign low dollar manufacturer.
Oof. It's like someone made a bad MOB dress & thought holographic glitter would make it better
The refund/return policy is very important and I didn't notice that before. Thank you for pointing that out! I understand why they do it, it's probably cheaper for them to do that because the price point of their dresses are so low to begin with. I can see why these dresses are popular for photoshoots because you don't really notice the little details/defects.

Boohoo is so dodgy - fast fashion galore, terrible workers conditions... there's being on a budget, and there's there's blatant disregard for the planet and its people. Let's not support that sh*t!!

I bought a dress from them for my cousin’s wedding last weekend. I got the velvet short sleeve hunter green wrap dress. I ended up changing the neckline from a V to almost a sweetheart and I had to add a snap in the center to hold it all together. I agree with everything she said in the video, the quality wasn’t great, I don’t like the no return policy, they also only give you 21 days to exchange it, but it did look pretty in photos. I would say that after my alterations it looked really good in person too

I bought a Baltic Born dress for a future maternity shoot and was a bit disappointed as well... though I did love that the length was great for someone 6 feet tall!
One online company I wore as a maid of honor was Azazie and I loved my dress! Felt like a Grecian goddess.

I love all of your videos! I am mother-of-bride/wedding planner. I have been searching everywhere for bridesmaids dresses for a burgundy Christmas wedding. I ruled these guys out because of the elastic waist. I knew the bridesmaids wouldn’t like it. I ended up with a casual dress that everyone will look good in with natural color heels. Verdosa on Amazon. 3/4 sleeves with a bell on them in dark red wine color. The fabric has a great weight to it. Flattering on size small petite to xxl tall bridesmaids. It wasn’t the long dress we had hoped to find, but needed it to be modest for most of the girls. They’ll be able to wear them after the wedding for Church.
Hi! Professional seamstress here; in terms of how the dress lays on you and the waistline being uneven: I would suggest sizing down, provided the length doesn't adjust with the size. That being said, it does look poorly made/ made of cheap materials. Thanks for the review!

I'm using it for my bridesmaids! Great option during covid and they have an option to order "try on dresses" so you dont even have to go through the hassle of buying and returning if you want to try it out!
They also have all kinds of fabrics and styles in soooo many colours!

I got a dress from Baltic Born for my engagement photos. I really enjoyed it but didn’t realize they didn’t do returns! That definitely changes my opinion about their company but my dress is so gorgeous

I ordered from there and had a great experience! Because I am petite, its hard to find a cute dress that actually fits me, and when I order online, the outfit never looks good on me because of my size. Things are usually too small. But when I ordered from Baltic Born, the dress fit me perfectly and it arrived 5 days after I ordered it!! Will definitely be buying from there again!

I bought a dress with them for my son’s wedding and had a bad experience with their return policy. I used their design feature to purchase the right size, they recommended a size smaller than I would get cause it was a wrap style. The dress did not even fit a little and then they said I was outside the return time frame and finally after fighting with them they gave me a partial store credit. 🙄

I ordered their Lydia dress for my backyard wedding and it was perfect. It’s almost identical to the one you tried but had a matching belt which really helped. It was definitely sheer though and also needed to be pinned. The overall quality is a definite “you get what you pay for”. But I loved mine for a more casual event and one time wear.
I bought my MOH dress from Baltic Born for my cousin's wedding, and I absolutely loved it. I did have to get it hemmed because it is SUPER long and I am 5'7" and I was wearing 3 inch heals. My seamstress was very confused as to why the bottom was not straight it was cut at different lengths. I happily got to wear it again for my engagement photos and definitely plan on wearing it again.
My bff bought a dress from them for my wedding and had to get it altered. It was a floor length velvety green wrap dress with short sleeves. She ended up shortening the sleeves because they were pretty long and gave off a mid-evil vibe and hemmed the bottom to wear flats.

I bought a dress from them off of Poshmark for our maternity shoot. It was great ordering from Poshmark as it was cheaper and the seller had actual photos of them in the dress. Just an idea for anyone else who likes their dresses but is nervous on the quality or fit on a actual person.
I got the Lydia in white to wear for my Rehearsal....I DEFF look like I'm going to some sort of Purity/Promise Ring ceremony! Need accessories to jazz it up and make it look more modern
I think I might have an idea what the reason is for the no refund policy... 🤔 it's probably better they didn't respond to your request to work together cuz then you would have felt bad about telling it like it is. You still would tell but no need for you to feel bad!

I love the styles of the dresses and I've bought their lingerie and everything fit perfect. The dress material reminds me of the quality of fashion nova or some amazon brands from china. The pricing of their dresses have increased tremendously but they are growing and getting more popular. I would still repurchase from them. They have a rewards system. I enjoyed your review though you're so honest.
So happy for this review! I tried this dress! Wanted to love it, it photographs beautifully but yes very matronly and I'm 26...I did love the other dresses I got just need different sizes. Their dark green, maybe it's called topaz is amazing! Spot on review of this gown in particular.
I would love to see a review of Revelry! They also seem like a great option for mismatched dresses, but at a slightly higher price point. In particular, they offer at-home try-ons for $10/dress, so I would love to know how that process goes!

I would love to see you review Revelry. I've done their at home try ons, and was impressed with how affordable the process for that was, and it really helped with how the different fabrics and dress styles made the sizing vary, but I've also heard some worrying comments about folks who've actually purchased from them and had issues with their final orders. I've been curious about Baltic Born, so thanks for this confirmation that I probably don't want to use them after all.

This is such weird timing. I literally received my first dress from them today. I got the Lydia dress I think? in turquoise. I love it but I have some thoughts. And yeah, mostly it’s about the return policy. I was super hesitant to order but I was looking for some nursing friendly dresses for weddings this summer so I got it. Super crazy long but it’s pretty and I think I can make it work and get it shortened. I do think it does look a little matronly and yeah, the waist line falls at kind of a weird spot. Idk. I may exchange it for a different dress style.

So weird I sent you my save the date and I was wearing the Baltic Born Celine dress in rust. Although I agree with you and was apprehensive about the no refund policy, I ended up having a good experience. My advice is to read the reviews and check your measurements before ordering. I was actually going to order the dress you bought with the sparkles but there were a couple comments about them looking like stickers. The fit is true to size and the one I chose had a sash so you didn’t have to worry about the weird seam. Also agree that the waist hits a little high and i didn’t feel very youthful in the dress but it did photograph well. We have some events this summer and I would order from them again.

I feel like this is very much a review of the dress not the brand. You need to review several different dresses to be able to fairly review. Difficult w/ the return policy however
I ordered two dresses from baltic born for my engagement photos. Both wrap style dresses. They fit horrible and are so unflattering!!! The waist is too high to it hits at the WIDEST part of my ribs, making me look extremely wide. Now I can't return or get store credit because I know I don't want any other dresses from them. UGHHHH
I got a dress from someone reselling theirs because it didn’t fit. I’m not too mad because I only spent $35 for it. But I had the similar issue! The wrap makes me look like I have a belly and the one strap that goes over one boob feels like it’s about to pop out for a party 😬

Would really love a wedding dress review from on online retailer like Lulus or Azazie! I see their adds everywhere! Their prices seem so much more reasonable for a budget bride, but also don’t want something that is going to come across as cheap in person!

Azazie please! I am having the hardest time getting the Evalleen dress in the right color and size for a try on. It’s as if they only have one single dress and you have to wait for it to be returned in order to try again. It also appears that they don’t have their new colors in that try on. If it’s this hard to get a try on, do I trust getting the dresses for the real day?

I have the same dress and had the same issues with it. The sleeve buttons are adorable but a total pain. The dress is definitely a rose gold tone and not champagne. The slip shows at the slit...ALL the time! The fabric comes across as cheap with the stick on sequins. I do have another BB dress though and dislike it even more than this one.
It is risky to order from them. Unless you absolutely love the dress from the pictures and you can't find another one from another company, don't order from them. Sadly they are hard to work with and don't guarantee the quality. You are out-of-luck if there is any kind of problem.

If you have any kind of problem with your dresses, they have horrible customer service. Good luck.
I have also bought from this company and the dress is very pretty and nice quality for the price, but....... I would never buy from them again until they change their return policy. They don't provide measurements for their sizes so you can't check that you are buying the correct size before you order. Then once you order what you hope is the right size you can't get your money back if you don't like it or if it doesn't fit you cant even exchange for a new size. So you get a store credit but now you have to pay shipping AGAIN because you didn't know what their sizing was. Really a fail in my eyes... Really a shame because the dress is cute but it is so hard to try and order and I also had the same issue with it gaping at the chest.
So question! Are you going to wear it during the wedding?!? Guessing not since it’s blush lol 😂
I got this exact dress and was so disappointed with the quality. It looks nothing like the photos on the website and it's very frumpy in person. It's also an extremely low neckline, also had to pin mine. I will say, my sister got a different style - the ones that are more velvety. Hers was beautiful in person, but definitely would not recommend this dress.
They sell all the same dresses from Amazon for 3x the price, like the Ada off white lace dress
husbands are great because we can spend 30 minutes ripping outfits apart and they are like "looks good" lol

I just got a dress from them and it was very clearly made overseas for pennies on the dollar and sold at an extreme mark up. Not to mention their sizing for plus sizes is just……not good. So now I have store credit I’m never going to use.

That dress needs to go back it does nothing for you body and you can't be a bridesmaid in that. And he said it kind of look nice not wow you look hot. It look pink in this light. Please return and send them this video cause it was not worth the cost.
Just FYI you can find many of their dresses on Amazon for less than half the price - and with the option to return. Baltic Born is a scam in my opinion.
