- Jack Rawles driving David Grace's Austin Healey 3000 at Spa in the 3 hour event. Jack started the race and handed over to David Grace at the hour mark. an electrical issue in qualifying meant the pairing qualified 29th out of 71. Jack raced the car up to 7th overall and David Grace continued the charge to 5th. at 2 hours, the car was handed back to Jack in 7th, sliding past cars who did not to refuel, Jack got back up to 3rd only to be overtaken by 2 faster cars recovering from their fuel stops. Jack Rawles and David Grace finished the spa 3 hours 5th overall and 2nd in class.

seeing the bug splatter on the windshield reminds me so much of having my first Healey, (a 58 in 1963), at 16 yrs old and in the agricultural center of California. Just a wonderful flashback!!! Thanks! (was a "weird kid" everybody else had 55 - 57 Chevys.)
Fantastic video. I love these onboards. I also love how these classic cars are still going strong! I was born in the wrong era (80s). Although there are some nice cars from the 80s I've always admired older cars even as a kid. I've subscribed so hopefully you continue to post videos in the future. 👍👍

For a while there I thought the Griffith was going to become a permanent hood ornament. Nicely done guys, patience and persistence pays off.

Ah ha, sounds like a supercharger but in fact it is a gearbox that caught a tooth in qualifying! 270-285 bhp, standard pattern parts, full steel engine, ally head. built by Bill Rawles Classic Cars.
Not to mention dual down draft carburetors which most people have not heard before. Thankfully, I grew up riding ever Sunday in a 63. Dual downdrafts (Weber) on a 289ci straight 6.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned
from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the
Green Peoples Party and FFF gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated
central gas station per city or county. Now these green heroes want to
slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2
litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will
be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine
and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027
on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any
longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions-
and smoke crime :-(
I don’t think this is correct, I haven’t found anything to back this statement up. Sure new cars with internal combustion engines will be banned by 2035 but not as you claim, no cars in the EU.
Well then we need to Ban All Commercial Airlines, and their Jewish Owners, who polute more over any single Country in on e day's worth of AirlineTraffick that All the Cars and Trucks combined polute in a whole Year !! And let us see how these Elite JEWS will like them apples !!
