I had to fit pre-made SS headers to my Healey recently so I have massive respect for Ant doing this the hard(est) way... I hope mine sound as good.
Your voice is so good, you won't get tired of watching it for years
Lol...
"This is where the manifold starts to get tricky.."
At the beginning...😆
I had a red and black Healey 3000 Mk3 like that in my 20s. It was a lot of fun and I was the right age to be crazy in it.
See the healey at hill climbs the noise that engine makes is brutal.
Pure music
Would’ve been cool to see the completed exhaust system, and to hear how it sounds. But I can’t complain. Very typical for this channel.
I thought exactly the same thing. That exhaust work was exceptional to see evolve.
Ant is a true automotive artisan!!
Nice velg
Mild steel tubing sounds better than stainless. The same reason why organ pipes are made of lead--best sounding material.
This bloke should go to Dennis Welch cars and buy a fully tuned system from them !!
EXCELLENT JOB!!!! I didn't think that healy had such a problem!!!!!
Those old exhaust manifolds must weight a ton. There is enough cast iron there, to build a battleship
I would have liked to hear what it sounds like after :(
Season 14,episode 8 for anyone looking for the full build.

It sold for $71,000 at auction
The more i watch this series the more i realise i prefer Ant as a mechanic, just much more professional imo.
Second!
You need to get out more lol
Nr 40 and 4 comment
awesome can make all like new, are you single????😉
How did you protect the carbs from the heat of the headers?
There is a 3 pcs heat shield kit that bolt under the carbs, I can't believe for a minute he didn't fit any...mind you I don't believe he fabricated that exhaust either, tv trickery
First !!!!
Knob jockey.
You need help my friend.
@@salvofarnia8046 lol. Me or the peanut filling his shorts cos he's "first"!?!?
I dont understand yall?????
Definitely, you made the wrong choice. Exhaust manifolds must be cast iron , since their expansion is very limited. On the other hand, stainless steel tubing expands too much, and you’ll end with a warped manifold, broken studs and bolts , and leaking exhaust gases .
I'm better than you
How many guy are actually working on one of these cars,,smfh
Scavenging !!
