  • In this video, we will show the Metahumans full workflow from start to finish using Unreal Engine 5 and Maya! Mesh to metahumans allows you as an artist to capture and process your own high-quality animation rigs and characters! It's amazing how straightforward this process has become. Using #realitycapture and #unrealengine5 we will create a lifelike recreation of my wife and I haha. Then we will use #maya to animate and finally bring it all into Unreal Engine.     At 14:24, after locking the camera you could just click on Track Active Frame at the top. The auto tracking is most useful when you move the camera around to make sure you get the best tracking possible but if you already have the camera where you want you can just track the current frame once. 16:55 if you want to quickly frame the neutral pose mesh, press F

    Good video. For editing and cleaning up mocap which one do you prefer Blender AutoRig or the UE5 MetaRig?

    Very nice video, I liked the overview aspect, but would love a more in depth one on the MH -> Maya -> UE workflow
