I just happened to stumble on your channel and after watching a few videos, you guys are legit. Alot of other detailing pages will avoid using a rotary and emphasize using a DA or random orbital. Well, if you want the paint to be 85%-90% of its potential with less risk, then go that route. If you want the best possible results then follow what this channel is teaching you and master the rotary. This channel gives real-world advice on how the best detailers use a rotary and how to do it efficiently.
I definitely prefer DA for most cars, but if they're really bad, I always like to hit them with my rotary first makes me go a little bit faster but definitely always go to my DA for sure
What do you mean halo effect? If someone doesn’t finish out the rotary marks down, either with DA or more fine-tuning rotary steps, then yes it will leave rotary haze. With today’s advancement in DA machines (rupes, flex) they also can leave DA compounding haze that needs to be finished out. Even polishing haze working with softer clear finishes.
@@jacobshank9362 you typically get halos with the rotary DA you're getting a lot of haze from the micro scratching halo affect typically happens it's part of a rotary track just a different way of looking at it. I really don't know what they call it but it's like a mirror wave effect. types swirls.
Good stuff, brother. that were I'm at now grabbing the rotory instead of my forced action , I feel like I'm heating up the surface too much just to one step.paints Way to thin these new cars are crazy thin

@@BorndetailersTvwhich limes 🍋🟩 do you prefer?
@@sterlingjones4108 rupes mark iii for sure
Rotary leaves a halo effect on the paint. I personally prefer the results from a da orbital polisher.

What can be done for oxidized paint? This is where I really struggle. Where is your purple wool pad from if you don't mind me asking?
It's a late country pad. I got from Amazon.
Can you just use the mini tool
You can sometimes better just to learn how to use your tools. You don't have to switch in and out thank you sis.
