Ngl sounds kinda personal against the rag co. I remember Anthony saying that about the bottles but i got the impression that they had other reasons for not carrying labo. The criticism of the bottles was a minor comment. I know we only see what others want us to see, but it seemed like trc and p&s gave back a lot.

Oh! Jamie, if you are gonna be king of the microfibers I got 2 ideas for you I mentioned about a year ago. The rag bag, a way to carry, divide, and store microfibers maybe like trunk bag. I use a book bag suitcase with dividers. And every king needs a robe, microfiber bath robe!

They have their own lane and fans, and we have our own lane for sure. We feel like THOR is just completely separate from the rest of the industry and we will do our own thing.
@@AA-vo4gu I've been an OG fan since like 2017. Matt has his own style and he doesn't really care to chase the new detailing products. He'll check some out periodically but he tends to be resistant to change. I've learned a ton from his videos, but there's not a lot of overlap in our detailing styles (he still hasn't figured out how to use rinseless properly and still confuses it with waterless 🤣). I mostly buy garage gear from OG, and 99% of my detailing stuff comes from TRC. I like to chase the new new so I'll venture away from TRC only in those cases, but the bulk of my detailing dollars go there and will continue to do so. I like to "Honor the Source" and support those I follow when something new looks interesting. I did just drop like $330 at THOR, we'll see if any make it into my regular rotation.
Matt doesn't even know THOR exists and he doesn't really need to. He has a ton of other cool stuff he's working on that will bring him continued success while he keeps doing his thing and evolving slowly with detailing products. I've been following him since 2017 and have spent a lot of money at OG (mostly on garage gear). There's nothing wrong with any of his detailing products or methods, I just have a very different and largely rinseless based detailing style so I do the bulk of my detailing purchases at TRC. I'm excited to have THOR for when I want to chase the new hotness outside of TRC's trusted curation.
Congratulations on the launch and good on you guys for calling out the industry and trying to do things differently. I see so many detailers who sell their souls for free product, then become schills because they lack big picture and like you said, the industry likes to take. Best of luck on this next chapter!

I knew nothing about detailing but I brought a new Mercedes 2 yrs ago and decided I was gonna wash it myself so I went to UA-cam and discovered you guys and other great detailers like DIY. You guys might just take the overpriced and overhyped Obsessed Garage curation off the map; I can feel it. Heads up: incoming hate from Matt the hater and his sheep.
They have their own lane and fans, and we have our own lane for sure. We feel like THOR is just completely separate from the rest of the industry and we will do our own thing.
@@AA-vo4gu I've been an OG fan since like 2017. Matt has his own style and he doesn't really care to chase the new detailing products. He'll check some out periodically but he tends to be resistant to change. I've learned a ton from his videos, but there's not a lot of overlap in our detailing styles (he still hasn't figured out how to use rinseless properly and still confuses it with waterless 🤣).
I mostly buy garage gear from OG, and 99% of my detailing stuff comes from TRC. I like to chase the new new so I'll venture away from TRC only in those cases, but the bulk of my detailing dollars go there and will continue to do so. I like to "Honor the Source" and support those I follow when something new looks interesting. I did just drop like $330 at THOR, we'll see if any make it into my regular rotation.
Matt doesn't even know THOR exists and he doesn't really need to. He has a ton of other cool stuff he's working on that will bring him continued success while he keeps doing his thing and evolving slowly with detailing products. I've been following him since 2017 and have spent a lot of money at OG (mostly on garage gear). There's nothing wrong with any of his detailing products or methods, I just have a very different and largely rinseless based detailing style so I do the bulk of my detailing purchases at TRC.
I'm excited to have THOR for when I want to chase the new hotness outside of TRC's trusted curation.
Congratulations on the launch and good on you guys for calling out the industry and trying to do things differently. I see so many detailers who sell their souls for free product, then become schills because they lack big picture and like you said, the industry likes to take. Best of luck on this next chapter!
