Great video thanks. I’ll just add to what was commented before. Definitely easier to approach the job from above. I took the 2 bolts out and moved the header tank aside. Made the job of the driver side bulb so much easier. Start to finish a little over 30 minutes and no scuffed knuckles.
Sincere thanks for putting this together. I had the same challenges you pointed out, and despite the lack of footage of the area (given how cramped it is), I was able to follow the directions for a successful replacement. Only comment is that I didn’t really need to access anything through the opening by the tire, it was way too cramped. Appreciate the time you took to make this video!
Thank you for posting this. I was having the *exact* same issue with the passenger side bulb on my diesel WK2; could get the replacement bulb in but had issues getting the locking collar to turn.
Mine was ready to go and didn’t need any programming. It is a MY14 but maybe later ones do. Can you get it from the dealer and try it? If not then bring it back for programming?
G’day thank you for the quick reply 👍I am grateful.. 2013 Trail Hawk USA parts Brisy also said programming required $668 part GC jeep $447 part A US UA-cam mechanic thought he would have to program it and was surprised it was pre programmed Thank you for your time, I appreciate it.. do you have any other thoughts ..
Great video. Now my driver side front turn signal stopped working. Same headlights as yours in this video. Any idea how to change the turn signal or doni have to replace the entire lamp?
I’m doing this now when I accessed the right side bulb (by ecu) the bulb was already loose and broken. The 2 locking clips, does clockwise lock in, I can’t seem to tell and didn’t pay attention when I did the other side 😂
Thanks for the video. I noticed that your DRL LED is flasing/flacking which I am having the same issue when the lights are one but the DRL run perfctly when running alone (headlights and fog are off). How did you fix that issue?
Is it a clockwise or counterclockwise rotation to lock in the bulbs? Removed the oem bulbs but can’t remember which way I had to rotate to remove them. Thanks!
Great video, I have the same Jeep Grand Cherokee but I was just wondering did you get D3S globes (same as original) or get D1S? I can't seem to find D3S globes from Stedi
Спасибо за видео очень полезное, хотя у меня 3.6 бензин и с бачком полегче. Но вот после замены нужно отрегулировать фары, были у кого-то такие проблемы и кто-то регулировал их и как он это делал?
One of my bulbs went out. I read recommendations that you should change both so I did. Now, both bulbs are on, but my headlights are really dim and "dispersed" is the best word I can use to describe. And they're not any better when I turn on my brights, maybe even worse. It appears that the deflector that focuses the light and switches from dims to brights isn't work. My headlights don't do the autoleveling when you first start up the jeep. HELP!! Does anyone know if/how to reset the deflector? I have AlfaOBD if there is a way to troubleshoot and/or reset. Thanks, Craig

Awesome mate. I’m glad it helped you out
I moved the ecu box which is just a clip holing it in position. But never an easy job. Great video helped me a lot to start with.
I found it easier to undo the two bolts holding the radiator reservoir and moving the reservoir aside.

I’m Glad my pain helped you get it fixed 🤣
G’day Mate thanks for the info 🇦🇺Did the new module come Pre programmed?? GC Jeep say they need to program it…?

not sure sorry but I think it is LED
Cherokee LED Headlight Ballast Module Computer you have to remove the bumper to remove the headlight it’s right under it
Hey, do these lights also have a ballast or is it just the headlight bulb?
Mine were just the bulb like in the video

Any ideas on how to repair the signal light of the same headlight ?
If it is the LED headlight I think you replace the entire headlight
Thanks for the video. I noticed that your DRL LED is flasing/flacking which I am having the same issue when the lights are one but the DRL run perfctly when running alone (headlights and fog are off). How did you fix that issue?
My DRL is fine. the flicker is just the shutter speed of the camera.
Oh, I did not think about that. All good. Any idea what will cause the issue i am having?@@TheEddysGarage
@@nassrhaddad9509 maybe a bad connection
Thanks for the vid! How do you like the stedi bulbs compared to stock?
Couldn’t tell a difference to be honest
Is it a clockwise or counterclockwise rotation to lock in the bulbs? Removed the oem bulbs but can’t remember which way I had to rotate to remove them. Thanks!
Same as a bolt, righty tighty, lefty loosy
@@TheEddysGarage lifesaver thank you
Hey !
thank your for the video , a short question about the coolant , is it too much or you run the car before you replace the bulbs ?
Parked on a bit of a hill
Great video, I have the same Jeep Grand Cherokee but I was just wondering did you get D3S globes (same as original) or get D1S? I can't seem to find D3S globes from Stedi
I just used their product finder and they had some to fit
Great video. Is it a bad idea to only replace the broken bulb and leave the original one in? Could mismatching bulb models cause issues?
The other bulb blew after anyway

Hi ! Quick question, do you twist the bulb or the plastic cap to lock/unlock the bulb?
Twist the bulb

Sorry but I haven’t had to fix that problem. Did you check the fuses? I would start there and check the jeep forums
Hi, I like your videos, I have a 2015 eco diesel. I will like ask your about more of your Jeep it’s god o haw it’s, tanks
Ok
give me a haller next time you need bulbs. Here in the US, they are $30 for 2. Ill buy them and ship them to you.
Muy buen video. Lástima ke no esté en español. Saludos desde veraguas panama
Thank You for your video. 👏🤝
No problem
How'd you get the wire off with such little room?
small wiggle just a few mm at a time. its a pain.
Does anyone know if the turn signal is a bulb as well?
No sorry, the turn signal is LED and part of the headlights assembly (not replaceable)
1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited what would make it stall
Not sure sorry. Try asking on one of the many Jeep forums or Facebook groups
Probably a blown out blinker bulb.
Ain't easy, frustrating. I have the 5.7 hemi...on day 2 of attempting....too hot yesterday afternoon....wish me luck!
Good luck 🤞
