I live in Las Vegas and i can tell you that even after his death. Elvis Presley still makes money for this city. Every casino and club has some form of Elvis show. Whether it be an impersonator or something. And there could not be any impersonator if there wasn't someone worth impersonating.

Been an Elvis fan just about 60 of my 69 years. He was a performer that did not need gimmicks or dancers and performers to back him. Him, his musicians and backing singers were all he need to keep his audience captivated. Today's music is a far cry from what we were lucky to experience. Hope his legacy goes on for many years.
There are people born after his passing who are fans just as about as passionate as those of us who lived in his time because their parents were Elvis fans. I love it. My three sons enjoy Elvis and particularly appreciate how much I love him.

I’m 65 now and I still get chills down my spine when I watch Elvis in concert on TV particularly the 1968 NBC TV Special when so many people had written him off and he answered them in the best possible way. Not only that, (I agree with everything you wrote) but even MEN were attracted to Elvis in a Man crush way. It was cool for Men to love the guy too. All women wanted him, all Men wanted to be him. I’m not afraid to admit that I find him absolutely stunning and yes I’ll say it, I am as straight as any guy could be. I’m just not afraid to admit what a beautiful person he was.
