I had the opportunity to stay in an AirBnB located in Big Bear, California. The place had a vintage style and old appliances. However, some people were complaining about it in the reviews, stating that it needed to be updated. I was probably the only one who commented saying, “This is awesome! It's like a time machine. I love it!” Although I was born in 1994, I was old enough to witness old designs fade away and give way to the more minimalist styles we see today.

What a gorgeous home! I have never seen inside Graceland, top or bottom, and this gave me such a great perspective of the charm and beauty of Graceland. I must say, I love the biright, modern decor compared to the dark of the old, but those were the times and how it was done. It was still beautiful in its day. Thanks for sharing! I am completely blind. And Elvis was my first big hyper fixation as a vocalist. I always wanted to go to the house and in 2022 I did. We paid for the VIP package, which means that you only have 10 people in your group. I don’t know what made them like me. I asked a bunch of questions and the tour guide said that I literally should get a job there because she had been there since 1983 and I knew more than she did. But then she decided to do something special. My friend and I were eating after the regular tour and she ran into the restaurant and said drop your stuff and come with me. She got special permission from The curator who she trained by the way, which is funny, put a guard in front of the front door, kicked everyone out, took the ropes down, and allowed me to touch everything except for the upstairs, though I have to confess I put my foot on the bottom step. It was only about 5 to 10 minutes, but my friend and the tour guide and I had the whole house to ourselves. I wish more than anything that I had sang in there or taken a video and if I ever get to go back and they let me do it again, I will do so.

Back in 82 -83 my parents took us to Graceland and my brother and I got to sit in the pink jeep from Aloha from Hawaii and mom took our picture . I still have the pix from that trip. That was when all his cars and motorcycles and snowmobiles was under the carport. Awesome video Jordan ⚡ TCB ⚡ PEACE
WOW! I’ve been to Graceland dozens of times. Aunt&Uncle lived in Memphis, so I was there a lot. The home was built when I was a kid, so I was used to the colors used in the 60’s/ 70’s era, but the home itself isn’t beautiful. Very cluttered and looks dirty. The grounds of his home were big and beautiful. He had Lisa Marie in mind when he built his yard. This home, Jason’s replica, is much prettier , albeit brand new, but his layout and alterations are much more conducive to today’s life and comfort. I’m from Murfreesboro and Brentwood. I live in the UK and I was born in 73 and remember when Elvis died as it was the same year as my granddad past and that Christmas they played his films back to back and I watched them all Xmas week with my nan who stayed with us for the first time over the holiday so she was not alone on her 1st Xmas without her husband.I got star struck when I heard him sing and have been a life long fan .If I was granted a wish I would use it to visit Graceland,it's my only wish before I die but financially I have never been able to afford to go or can see a way to make my dream come true now I can only wish one day and keep dreaming.

I was about 8 yrs old when I 1st saw Graceland. We were able to go upstairs to see his bedroom then. I guess I’m one of the lucky ones that got to see it before it was not allowed anymore. I don’t remember everything about the 1st tour but I remember how different each room was. I also remember the plane, bus & cars tours & the pool of course. I went back when I was about 12 then again when I was around 23. I was amazed about all the changes and how much was different over the years, but the house was always the same. You never went upstairs,it's NEVER been open to the public. Even the kitchen in the beginning wasn't part of the tour because his Aunt Delta was still living in Graceland using the kitchen. Only after her death was the kitchen opened up as part of the tour I'm sure can confirm @angie.marchese1313

So interesting to see Jason's home and how similar it is. I do think Jason's interior design is nicer than Elvis' but then of course it is modern. Amazing he could recreate it so well though. I also did not realise there were even photos of Elvis' bedroom around.

Jordan I’ve been to Graceland several times and I do get it why they don’t want the public upstairs when I’ve gone there I’ve never felt the need to go upstairs but I could feel Elvis’s presence everywhere …. He made that house his own and I’m happy that his legacy is being remembered in this way …. Thank you Jason for letting us see the house you created & now we no longer have to 'wonder' what the Upstairs of Elvis' house looks like. I have been head over heels in love with Elvis since I was 3 yrs old. My older sister is 11 yrs older than I am, & so she got stuck having her little sister tag along with her whenever she was hanging out with her girlfriends, who liked Elvis & listened to all his music. I am also 'one of those people' who does not allow the "D' word said about Elvis around me. My 'D' word is 'Disappeared'! I know that is silly, but it is still how I feel. My sister is now 83 yrs old, & that makes me 72. In the 1st house I bought on my own, I bought one with a 3rd bedroom which became my 'Elvis' room. I have so much memorabilia of Elvis that everyone has been buying for me since I was 3. No one could go in the room without my ok. I was about 8 yrs old when I 1st saw Graceland. We were able to go upstairs to see his bedroom then. I guess I’m one of the lucky ones that got to see it before it was not allowed anymore. I don’t remember everything about the 1st tour but I remember how different each room was. I also remember the plane, bus & cars tours & the pool of course. I went back when I was about 12 then again when I was around 23. I was amazed about all the changes and how much was different over the years, but the house was always the same. Love what the gentleman has done, it’s beautiful. ❤ Thank you for honoring him an for letting us see your BeautifulHome. ❤
You never went upstairs,it's NEVER been open to the public. Even the kitchen in the beginning wasn't part of the tour because his Aunt Delta was still living in Graceland using the kitchen. Only after her death was the kitchen opened up as part of the tour I'm sure can confirm @angie.marchese1313

I grew up in Memphis. I visited Elvis house when I was a young girl. I don't remember the stained glass. Just beautiful
Wow this was amazing!!! Thank you Jason for opening your home and thank you Jordan for sharing with us. I really feel like I have an understanding now of everything that’s off limits on the tour. I had no idea the door at the top of the stairs was the kitchen staircase.
So interesting to see Jason's home and how similar it is. I do think Jason's interior design is nicer than Elvis' but then of course it is modern. Amazing he could recreate it so well though. I also did not realise there were even photos of Elvis' bedroom around.

Yeah big upgrade with Jason's decor in the bedroom! I was trying to pinpoint the feeling I got from Elvis' decor in his bedroom and I decided (for me) it felt very gypsy/vampire like. lol

Elvis’s real bedroom was dark and scary. The pretend Elvis bedroom is beautiful. 😊
Most of the real Graceland looks so gaudy and kitsch. This guy upgraded it nicely

Jordan I’ve been to Graceland several times and I do get it why they don’t want the public upstairs when I’ve gone there I’ve never felt the need to go upstairs but I could feel Elvis’s presence everywhere …. He made that house his own and I’m happy that his legacy is being remembered in this way …. He was a great entertainer I’m soon to be 73 so yep I remember him very well seen all his movies and had most of his albums as well thank you for sharing this experience with all of us and again thank the History that owns the house for sharing his space with us as well ❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🕺🕺🥋🥋🎤🎤🎹🎹🎸🎸📺📺📀📀💿💿

Thank you Jason for letting us see the house you created & now we no longer have to 'wonder' what the Upstairs of Elvis' house looks like. I have been head over heels in love with Elvis since I was 3 yrs old. My older sister is 11 yrs older than I am, & so she got stuck having her little sister tag along with her whenever she was hanging out with her girlfriends, who liked Elvis & listened to all his music. I am also 'one of those people' who does not allow the "D' word said about Elvis around me. My 'D' word is 'Disappeared'! I know that is silly, but it is still how I feel. My sister is now 83 yrs old, & that makes me 72. In the 1st house I bought on my own, I bought one with a 3rd bedroom which became my 'Elvis' room. I have so much memorabilia of Elvis that everyone has been buying for me since I was 3. No one could go in the room without my ok. Thank you 'Jordan the Lion' for getting Jason to let us all see what we have never been able to see. It was a wonderful trip! 🤙🤙🤙💜💜💜😍🤩🤩
