    Hi, how many yakka do you usually get for each session? And what is the lb test of the snap swivel you are using? Are you using yakka fillets or live yakka?

    • @spinkingsyd
      @spinkingsyd  2 роки тому

      As many as you can catch hahah. More bait more fish. The snap is only for travally but I don’t use that anymore. Livebait

    • @techprometheus
      @techprometheus 2 роки тому

      @@spinkingsyd So far I can get 12+ yakka from 4:30am, although I could just turn up at 5am. For me I have found that I only need max 4-6 yakka as I run one rod. Do you lose your live bait often? As it sounds like that is the reason you want to get as much as you can.

    9 times out of 10 the fish thrown back in the water from such a height will eventually die due to their air bladder bursting. If you want to catch and release and you want the fish to survive it should be placed in the water and allow the water to go through the gills then just let the fish go and it will swim away. Good video

    • @spinkingsyd
      @spinkingsyd  5 років тому +2

      Awesome information mate. do you have any links you could send me with a better insight on this as I'm very passionate about catch and release and would love to learn more about this and the effects it has on the fish

    • @nickcoudounellis2020
      @nickcoudounellis2020 5 років тому

      @@spinkingsyd no sorry don't have any links but if you Google
      " popping fish air bladder" you will have a better insight on this subject. Even catching a fish at a great depth and bringing it to the surface too quickly will give the fish the bends believe it or not. The fish's air bladder will end up in the fish's mouth. Throwing a fish back in the water from a reasonable height will in most cases pop the fish's air bladder and resulting in the fish dieing
